so there was an news story done recently about kids in my neck of the woods who are getting high by going to the bathroom (number 2) in water bottles and then peeing on top of the poo and huffing it because it gets them high....WTF?!?! first of all i dont understand how that even gets someone high but i dont care to know how it works..i dont get how people come up with things like that and why someone doing that doesnt realize that if they are going to that length to get high then maybe theres a huge problem there...i mean these kids sit around, poop in a water bottle, pee on the poo cuz it causes some reaction and then pass it around huffing it....i mean seriously people!?!?!?!

so my question is...what do u think should be done about that? if ur a parent, what would u do if u found out 1 of ur kids was doing it?

I'm looking for an inexpensive floor for my kitchen. I'm leaning toward vinyl tile because I can install it myself quickly. Does anyone have any advice on installation. I don't want the corners of the tile to peel up in two months.

my 8 month old eats twice, sometimes 3 times what my 2 yr old eats. He eats sometimes 2 cups of cream of wheat, or oatmeal, for breakfast and then screams for more. If someone is eating, he goes to them and screams to be fed again. Its like he doesn't get full, no matter what he eats or how much

We have a seller held mtg and the taxes and insurance are escrowed into the payment. Do we add the new owner to the policy? Our fear is if the new owners get their own policy and just add us and we cancel ours, then our mtg co would find out since they pay our insurance through the escrow account.

Also, would the insurance payout pay the seller mtg first, buyer mtg second, buyer third if any left? Example: Seller mtg 120K, buyers mtg 149K, home worth 159K.

she is 16 years old and she has a problem with something.and my parents want her to be put down but i dont.i have known her every sence i was born and she is a wonderful cat. but for a couple of weeks she has been acting crazy and my sister wont mind buying her meds and stuff like that.i am so scared and i cant turn to my parents or my sister to talk to them.thanks.what do u think i should do.

I had my IUD taken out on 8/31/07. I had it for 3.5 years. I did not have my period during that time. I had my son in 8/2002. After childbirth, I was put on the depo shot and then had my IUD put it. I did not have a period during any of that time. So to make it shorter my last period was 11/2001. I had a 2.5 day period 10/02/07 and thought I was getting ready to have another. My breasts have been so sore for two weeks, it hurts to sleep. I don't feel bloated or like I am going to start, but I am moody and can cry about anything. I know condoms aren't 100%, but I have not had unprotected sex at all. Does anyone else have similar stories after having an IUD removed? How long did it take for your cycle to become regular? Should I be concerned about pregnancy, or is it just PMS?

I'm going to have to look for colleges soon, and I want to either go into fashion design or graphic design on the computer. Is there a career that involves both? I have heard of textile design which is done on the computer, but is that designing clothes or fabric? - I'd really like to know a carrer I'd be good for and I would like it to also involve a little sewing (fashion design). any suggestions?

I’ve been having odd dreams lately like horror films, thrillers, last night i dreamed that i was in a high school and shai laibouf was in it, so was billy bob thorton, and billybob was the bad guy and lock down the school and there was only five students and one teacher and he was trying to kill us. he killed 2 of us and i was left behind with the teacher and she ended up killing him before he could kill us. but shai and the other guy escaped in a van and then realized he left us behind and came to pick us up.

Then i also dreamed about a mutated starfish that i found this little starfish at the beach and when you touched it it would glow blue and with little hot pink swirls. then i took it to this lab. then they poked it to see it turn the colors and it became a killer starfish. sort of like star wars light savors, that are like laser and cut clean. the star fish would sort of stick on to you and cut you clean like that. i was like what the heck. it killed the lady at the lab that was trying to experiment on it . then to summarize quicker. they just ended up killing it so it wouldnt kill anymore people. but it ended like a movie with the scientist searching the beach looking for more of those killer mutated starfish.


and i haven't been watching thriller movies lately and i dont watch star wars.

This is a reply that I got from a medical doctor, to a question concerning a Jehovah's Witness mother who died and left behind 2 new born baby girls after delivery.

The Watchtower pints nonsense about how Blood is not necessary. This is a reply from a real doctor, not a publishing company.....Will you listen now?
I'm a doctor and have found myself in the appalling situation of trying to save a life where the patient refuses blood because they are a JW. If they have signed a form there's nothing we can do, but if it's a child ie if the parent refuses to allow their child a life saving transfusion, we can overrule them.

They get their anti transfusion beliefs as follows:


They cite four biblical texts (Genesis 9:4, Leviticus 17:12-14, Acts 15:29 and Acts 21:25). They say these mean that blood, the life-force, belongs to God and is not there for human use. They believe it a sin to eat not just black pudding but also to eat the flesh of animals that have not been properly bled.

And they extend the ban to transfusions. They won't even allow someone's blood to be stored before an operation and then used after it to replace their own blood loss. Blood is not to be stored; it is to be poured out and returned to God. Some JWs even reject dialysis or cell salvage on these grounds. Some will not accept red cells, white cells, platelets or plasma, but accept "fractions" made from these components.

There is a philosophical problem here. When a substance is broken down into components does the original remain? Some 90-96 per cent of blood plasma consists of water. The remainder is albumin, globulins, fibrinogen and coagulation factors. JWs say these may be used, according to conscience, but only if taken separately. Opponents say is like outlawing a ham and cheese sandwich but allowing the eating of bread, ham and cheese separately.

They are criticised for other inconsistencies. Blood fraction products are only available because of blood donation – a practice JWs condemned as unethical.

Many JWs still carry a signed and witnessed advance directive card absolutely refusing blood in the event of an accident. And the church's website still carries alarmist material about the dangers of transfusions in transmitting Aids, Lyme Disease and other conditions. It also exaggerates the effectiveness of alternative non-blood medical therapies.

What do doctors think?

The British Association of Anaesthetists guidelines insist that the wishes of the patient must normally be paramount. US doctors take a similar view; they know giving blood to someone who does not want it could get them sued – one of the busiest trauma hospitals in Florida even has a blanket policy of refusing to treat JWs.

Other countries, like France, take a more dirigiste view. And a landmark case in Dublin recently ruled that doctors were right to give a woman blood during childbirth because the right of her child to have a mother over-ruled her own right to refuse the blood.

There are even more subtle dilemmas to come. One asks whether doctors are obliged to give chemotherapy, which is normally accompanied by a blood transfusion, to patients who insist on having it without the blood, without which it is highly likely to fail. As medicine advances things are likely to get more, rather than less, tricky.

One more thing. Their literal interpretation of the Bible allows them (not unlike the Catholic church) to keep child abuse secret: Not good. They take Deuteronomy 19:15 literally, which demands two witnesses to a crime (not easy in cases of abuse). And they cite 1 Corinthians 6:1-11 – "Does anyone of you that has a case against the other dare to go to court before unrighteous men, and not before the holy ones?" – to justify trying to deal with criminals with courts of elders rather than courts of law. A Panorama investigation reported they have an internal list of 23,720 reported abusers which they keep private. Studies in the US suggest they have proportionally four times more sexual assaults on children than the Catholic Church.

Any religion which literally interprets the Bible, and keeps its doings secret can be a cause of harm in my view. And the idea that a woman can die leaving twins, motherless because of an obscure text in the Bible appals me as a doctor and a human being.

Pay is about equal.
Both can get specialized and earn more money.
Rad Techs do not have as much responsibility as far as lives go. (they can't accidentally grab the wrong med and inject someone with it) The schooling for a Rad Tech is not as grueling.

RN's can get their RN Associates in two years which I guess is the same with a Rad Tech.
RN's have a bigger variety of job's to choose from and a bigger variety of places they can work.
RN's can one day become traveling nurses.

And probably above and beyond all of that is also both a negative and a positive. That is that the cases that you see are sometimes very tragic and you feel both a sense of purpose but also very saddned while being and RN.

From prior discussions here we know that some of us dislike cutting down a live tree for a few weeks' enjoyment, and prefer realistic but fake trees. Others insist the trees are grown just for this purpose. Some have to compromise with family members who want it one way or the other. What's planned for your Christmas decor this year - real or fake?

As for me - LOL - it will probably be ceramic; no room for a tree!
