I'm supposed to stay off my feet for 3 weeks (medical reasons) and I'm kinda stuck in my humble abode unless I want to go out with a walker which is hard cuz I keep tripping on it on the sidewalk! It's just not worth leaving by myself....What could I do all day aside from sitting at this computer?!?!? I was thinking about making cookies....the ones with all the ingred's in a pouch and all you do is add butter and an egg.....I'm just not up to doing much at all (depressed about this whole medical crap) so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....I don't like to read, don't know how to knit, crochet, etc...no real hobbies....I do like listening to music though, so I sit here at the computer and crank the speakers but i can't just sit here all day either.....suggestions? Legit ones please.....Thanks!

Christmas is coming and I usually ask for a ring or other jewelery gift from my beloved. I have been looking at black diamonds on-line & find them intriguing - but am not sure about them - after all, they have no real clarity, do they, like a real white diamond? Do they have much value? Has anyone bought a black diamond? If so, what do you think of it - do you like it? Do you feel that even though you are not close with family you are obligated to be with them on Thanksgiving or any other holiday. I don't get the point of being with "family" you're not close with or do not like on a holiday when you don't bother or see them the rest of the year. Any thoughts?

Even as a democrat I can respect Paul for his principles. I may not agree with all of them but unlike the other republican candidates and many of the democrat candidates I trust that Ron Paul is who he says he is.
I don't understand the Republicans though. He is pro-life, pro-gun, more fiscally conservative than any other candidate yet the Republicans favor Giuliani.

Will the votes ever catch up with his with his internet fame and his one day fundrasing record?

I have been working at the place for a little over 4 months now.
About two weeks ago, my manager took me to the side and informed me that i have been ineffective at my current responsibilites and that certain tasks will be taken away from me while others will be given to me.
So within the past two weeks i have only done administrative work for the group in whch they told me to now do. While this, I cant tell you how much stress i had with them... now today, my manager called me in the office to inform me that the work i am now doing does not coorespond to the amount of my salary and they have to let me go.

1) can i collect unemployment due to this?
2) what would be the next step(s) for me in order to go about this?

Absolutely fascinating article - I note that the world has 5 times the mass of Earth and has 1.4 times the diameter. I admit we do not know its exact chemical make-up but if we assume it is similar to Earth can someone please tell me how much higher the gravity would be.

My psychologist thinks I have depression because I cut myself (not so bad) and I always have vertigo. I have been going through many tests for this. I have many thoughts of suicide, overdosing on pills, shooting myself. I know this is horrible, and I haven't told my psychologist. In a way, I don't want to kill myself, I just want to really hurt myself where I am in the hospital. What do you think is wrong w/ me? Is it due to depression that I always want to deliberately be sick and hurt? I fake sick a lot because I don't want to go to school, can't get out of bed or have the motivation to do anything < & I know this is due to the depression. I am pretty sure that I have bdd because people tell me that i'm pretty, but I always feel so ugly and want to be perfect. I don't want to have these crazy thoughts, I feel like I am letting my family and friends down, so I don't tell them a lot of things. What should I do?
