I think it's something you just can't control as much as you would want to. But that's why love is so powerful because if it were something you could just turn on and off you would probably never know how special love truly is.

You have no control it is left to the stars the heavens and whatever else is in the cosmos those places we all dream of and wonder if they are real well thats the same place that decision is made, may sound goofy or dumb but simply put you may date 10,000 people and "love" them all, then youll meet that one that just blows you right off your feet and you are just so in love so blown away that in your heart you know for 100% sure that that person is your soul mate and that you and them met in that time and place for a reason, and that you 2 are meant to be.

Since we are a people of "vision", I would venture to say that the physical attraction is the first step of the love nature. Whether it is someone's eyes, face, hair, etc. The actual emotions of 'love' don't come up at first. In my opinion, love for another person is a growth process. And it is in your control. TO say it isn't would indicate that you have emotions that can find themselves all over the place - incontrollable. A sane person has self control no matter what.

I think everyone has the self control to choose who not to fall in love with....a married man with children, for example. Unfortunately some people decide not to exercise this control and say things like "one thing led to another....." Other than that you can go with the flow!

I think that who you fall in love with is out of your control. You can't help how your heart feels. Trust me if you choose it would make life a hell of a lot easier sometimes.

you definitly can not choose who you fall in love with, but you can control it if your a strong person...
I think you can fall in love with different people because of the different ways they make you feel & depending on what stage you are at in life.

Yes, I believe you can choose who you fall in love with. There is no such thing as love at first sight. That is lust. You can choose to love someone after you've met them and get to know them. You can also choose not to love them.

Nope, it's beyond your control.
People who think they can force themselves to feel for someone (as might be the case in an arranged marriage) are only fooling themselves.

You can choose who you want to be with but you can't choose who you fall in love with. It's just how it is.

I don't believe you choose who you fall in love with - sometimes it just happens and it's with someone you never even thought it would be
