A woman went to the doctor's where she was seen by one of the younger doctors.

After about four minutes in the examination room, she burst out screaming as she ran down the hall.

An older doctor stopped her and asked what the problem was and she told him her story.

After listening, he had her sit down and relax in another room.

The older doctor marched down the hallway to the back where the young doctor was writing on his board.

"What's the matter with you?" the older doctor demanded.

"Mrs Reid is 62 years old, has four grown children and seven grandchildren and you just told her she was pregnant?"

The younger doctor continued writing and without looking up said, "Does she still have the hiccups?"

How do you decide how much money to spend on remodeling? What should your cap be. Say you bought a home for 200k 5 years ago and the houses in your neighborhood have a more updated look and selling for 260.
Is there a formula to estimate a cap on how much you should spend on updating and remodeling.

I'm 16,i'll be 17 in june.
I've wanted to be a ranger since I was 8 years old hearing my uncle talk about it,but he has since passed away..
I'm not just trying to jump into this, and i'm not stupid.
I know it's gonna take major commitment, and I know what I'll have to complete to get in.
But i've been lifting and running everyday for almost 2 years now and while I can get the run down in way under the time limit,I can't even DO the 80-100 pushups/situps/pullups,let alone in 2 minutes or better..
I know it's endurance, but what can I do to get to my goal?
I just want to know honestly from either people who know someone who has,or a person that has, gone through the RIP and everything else.
please,any information is fine...
and thanks in advance..

I would like to sell my house and buy another one in California.

What would be a reasonable deal to ask a realtor/real estate agent to give you if they handled both transactions?

No one has offered me a deal but what would be a good one that I should approach an agent friend with as an offer, say "If you give me X I'd like to have you handle the sale of my house and the purchase of my next one at the same time"

Thanks.

I know that I need to get my front brake pads replaced and possibly front rotors resurfaced. I have a 2006 Honda Civic with almost 20,000 miles and need to know, do I also have to get the back brakes (drums) done too? I only hear screeching and a bit of grinding in the front but, is it true that I don't necessarily have to get the back brakes done right now too? I have researched that the rear drums should be replaced every 30 to 50,000 miles while the front discs should be done 15 -20,000 miles. I live in Chicago, snow, and salt. Thanks for your advice in advance.

As a Catholic, I've had people tell me what I believe or what my Church teaches. Yet, none of the things would be even remotely close to what we believe at all.

I'm sure this happens with people of other religions as well. It amazes me how uneducated people can talk as if they were experts.

I mean...come on. Not only are these people blatantly lying and spreding stereotypes, but they clearly don't have a clue what they're talking about. It's lovely that because I wear black they say that I am a Satanist, a rapist, a murderer, freak, lunatic, racist, etc. Us "goth" looking people are for the most part friendly, accepting, and kind...we don't conform the stereotypes that this site promotes. I mean, since when does dress denote who a person is on the inside?

I'm not sure what to think-- is this a joke site, or are they serious? If they are serious, I'm torn between being sad that people can be so full of hate, and laughing because they look so ignorant. I'm sorry, but if a deity exists I truly hope that He or She is looking at people for who they are on the inside and looking at their deeds while alive-- not at how beautiful they appear to the rest of the world on the outside.

What do you guys think? Joke site, or nuts on the loose?

I just had some new neighbors move in next door. They are always blasting Bob Marley tunes and instead of saying "hello" they say "ayyyee mon!"
Anyway.. I have been noticing that my kitty has been acting different lately. Usually she only wants to eat 2-3 times a day, but now she is ALWAYS hungry. she also started to meow along to the bob marley tunes, as if she is singing along. She jumps through the window at night and starts licking my face so I will wake up and feed her.
what is going on here?

I pulled an older woman at a club last night.

She was a right sort for 57, we drank a bit, had a bit of a snog & she asked if I'd ever had the sportsman's double,

a mother and daughter threesome?

I said no.

We drank a bit more, then she says that tonight was my lucky night !

Went back to her house. she put the hall light on and shouted upstairs...

'MUM....you awake?

I have 4 friends coming over to my apartment for Thanksgiving dinner. I have no problem with the cooking part. The problem is keeping my guests entertained. I have not entertained in a very long time. I'm always the guest at somebody else's place. I'm always great as an attending guest, but am nervous as a host for my own dinner party. I'm nervous about how to keep them entertained after dinner, so they don’t get bored in my apartment.

Any body got any ideas? Any games I can buy? Card games? Any advice would be well appreciated.
