have some music going during the whole event. after dinner you guys can watch some TV, or a movie, play games - Cranium is a good one, Zoobmondo, any trivia type game, Pictionary, Scrabble, whatever! Just go to the store and get a game that looks interesting to you. have some of your photo albums out for your guests to look through or some magazines. how bout everyone taking a leisurely stroll after dinner to walk off some food, maybe stop for a drink along the way home.

Is everybody guys? It makes a difference.
My number one rule of entertaining: Have something ready for them to eat and drink the second they come through the door. Chips, snack mix, peanuts, nachos. Have drinks set up somewhere out of the way so people can serve themselves.
Won't you be watching football? If it's all guys, you don't need any games. Video games or cards will always do.
But if ladies are in on this, there should be a selection of videos, scattergories is pretty fun or pictionary or charades.
Have on hand some easy conversation starters, like, what's your favorite TV program, what would you do if you could have any job in the world? Look up on the web and find rules for Uno Extreme. It is wild, hilarious and lots of fun.

Stay relaxed and your guests will have a good time. Keep the wine (or whatever you are serving) flowing, wait for a bit after dinner to serve dessert and play great music. If you want to play games, I like Cranium. We have a wii and it is very popular after dinner, maybe one of your friends has one? If everything is too scheduled, it will seem fake, so have some games and cards if people want to play, and if they just wanna chill, let them do that as well.

What usually keeps you entertained at other parties? Go with your gut. Could try something silly and keep it light. Always depends on the guests. Are they easy going? How about something simple like Scrabble or Twister? Even pin the tail on the donkey if you think they'd enjoy it. The main thing is that you need to like it to. They won't be encouraged to play if they think you are just trying to pacify them. Have fun and enjoy your company.

Tabo is my latest favorite game to play with freiends & family, although the more the merrier it will still be fun with the 4; how about scrabble, I love that game! another idea would be to go to the video store & rent jeopardy, wheel of fortune or deal or no deal; card games like spades or hand and foot are fun; hope these are helpful! have a great Thanksgiving!

Have the 11 year old arise with some video games to play with the greater youthful infants. Adults could desire to have the potential to shield themselves - a sprint wine, some appetizers, all is powerful!!
