I have a test monday and i'm lost we are in the gas chapter and thermodynamic chapter. Could someone explain what the molecular velocities and grahams law of effusion is? What is the root-mean-square velocity of gas particles? What in the h*** is enthalpy, change in enthalpy, Hess's law, and calorimetry and how does it relate to chemical equations? My teacher is Russian and she has a strong accents o I dont understand what she is saying and the books is evem more difficult to understand with all thise different triangles and letter and stuff...i've even bought 2 different chemistry books outside of my text book and they both explain the gas and thermochemistry chapters very confusing, I just feel like giving up some1 please help. Eveytime i ask someone to help me they claim they have a paper to write or something to do that is more important than the test.

I don't know if anyone else has these issues or not but some feedback would be great. My mother-in-law never wants to spend quality time with us or our son. This is her very first grandchild and shes even an elementary school principal. She just always makes excuses to never see him and if she does its maybe once a month for a few hours with us present. Also if we ask to babysit ,which we rarely do and we havent gone out my husband and i in 6 months, she always says no shes busy going here or there or she'll go and ask my sis in law. it just aggrevates me because if i wanted to ask her i would! Is this normal behavior for a grandmother? my mom lives 4 hours away and i know shed be kidnapping our kid every chance she got because she does it when we visit her. I mean I don't know if i should approach her and mention it because it bothers me but my husband says shes missing out oh well. i mean grandpa is so involved but grandma is MIA. im open to suggestions so plz give me some!

Call me old fashioned, but I think that when a guy puts the moves on the girl, he should do so slowly and respectfully.

I've hung out with a guy 3 times so far. I'm coming off of a bad relationship and I explained to him, I wasn't ready for anything...I'm still very hurt and trying to mend myself...

We watched a movie the last time we hung out. He kissed me. Which was fine. But he kissed me and then asked if I had a condom. I kind of shot him a look..like..."There's no chance we're going to have sex." And he proceeded to try to take off my shirt. I stopped that. And he tried for my pants. Not once, but twice.

I'm not going to lie, I felt a bit offended. I'm 23 so maybe it's not that big of a deal. But it is to me. I was kind of into him until this happened. I guess I just expect a guy to be respectful, gentle, and slow with me. I didn't feel that at all with him. And now, I don't really want to see him again. Am I making too big of a deal of this?

I started some popcorn plants indoors in June and grew them in containers. They have never been outside, but now the plants look like they are dying. Will they die even if kept indoors?

I've divorced and started dating again. Of course since I'm divorced and have 2 children, i really don't have a ton of money to spread around. it's pretty scarce like a single mom's cash flow. problem is i meet these single moms or divorced women and it seems they're looking for another dad for their kid or want some guy that has all this money to do stuff to help take care of their kid(s). it seems they're unrealistic in their dating and it's like they're holding out for Mr. wonderful with no baggage and tons of cash when they have their own baggage. what's the most important thing a single mom looks for or even an older woman that's been through a divorce. I think a lot of divorced people think the grass is greener and spend their life looking for something they'll never get and regret getting divorced (it wasn't my choice to get divorced). then these women wonder why they can't find a good man? it boggles my mind sometimes.

Hi everyone. I am searching for diotomaceous earth. It is used as a bug control product, but is green/health based (no chemicals). I found a flea on my Yorkie the other day and I'm panicking. I work in the downtown core of Toronto (york/king) and am hoping someone knows somewhere within walking distance of here that sells this stuff. Or, in the durham region (i live in Courtice, just east of Oshawa). I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks!

I live alone and don't do much wash. It seems it I went to the laundromat I would use their water, their heating of the water and their electricity to dry ??? How does one mathematically see that it costs more to use the laundromat or do people just think it costs more ? I am close to it and drive an economical car ???

I have a cub cadet 1042 riding lawnmower and I can't get it to start. It will turn over when I Turn the key but it just wont start. I've been using a battery charger to help it turn over. I replaced the fuel filter, air filter, gas and spark plug. It still wont fire up. Is there a fuse or something inline to the spark plug that could be causing this? Any suggestions? Thanks

i want to , from my PC (connected to the internet) remotely access to my subordinate's PC, which is not allowed to connect to the internet.
I have to let my subordinate's PC connect to the main router via the broadband cable, and of course mine is connected to it. What are software to remotely access if both of the PCs are not connected to the internet? What are the software used to remotely access both of the PC, if they are both connected to the internet. clicking window key + r and then //IP address only see files in the popped up window. But i want to access to it as simultaneously seeing what the other person is watching on the other PC.
