It is a scam. By the time u give them your credit card number and the 3 digits behind your card which give them the liberty to purchase things online, I can imagine they will be using your card and go on a shopping spree for laptops, nikon cameras, louis vitton bags, rolex watches, viagra, victoria's secret lingeries, playboy magazines etc etc.

And they will max out the credit limit.

Sounds like a scam to me. The prize is the credit card.

If you need a credit card to receive a prize, its not free.

What prize? If you had really won something, you wouldn't have to pay for it - sounds like someone is trying to scam you.

lucky for you that you don't -- online "prizes" are almost all scams designed to loot your credit card.
