Same tripe as that Halloween cartoon. These people are basically talking to themselves. They think repeating this dreck out loud makes them more confirmed in their faith. They are unable to look at it from the viewpoint of a non-believer or they would be able to see how ineffective the technique is! They're also really fond of straw man arguments, like the evil industrialist in the cartoon.

It is good that only a minority of american believe such extreme stuff as that. We need to do our best to develop, more openness to the best in spiritual and moral ideas, from sources all over the world. I am not a traditionalist, My focus is for an even better world spiritually, where the goal is on transforming this world, into the best world it could be. Religion should be the organization, that inspires the best in morality, and encourages people to work on, and solve the serious problems of this world, that right now are not being very well addressed. A good religion should get people to meditate/pray, do mind-body exercises, eat healthy, and not over indulge. This will make people stronger and more sensitive spiritually.

No, I think that everyone should be able to contribute their ideas.
If you limit it to what you believe in, there is no room to discuss.
