My hot water and central heating go off around 9.30pm. Then as regular as clockwork the pipes start making noises at 10pm. It sounds quite loud and it's a dragging noise. Our house is only 10 months old can anyone give me advice on what is causing it or should I get a plumber in. The pipes only make a noise at night for about 30 mins.

I have a friend staying in my home in California. We have no contract or lease and he did not put down a deposit.

He was supposed to pay me monthly to stay there but has not paid in the last 3 months and the months before then were never the full amount or in regular intervals. I have requested that he pay or move out if he is unable to pay for the past 3 months, and he told me that he would be out by October 15th.

Here it is nearly November and he refuses to pay still and he refuses to leave. What can I do?

i have a female rabbit who is about 7 months and a male who is about 3 months old. when i introduced my female to the new male she was very aggressive to him and mounted him, over the last couple of weeks she has stopped mounting him and they seem to get along, i have noticed that he is mounting her now are she is allowing him. over the loast 2 days she has been building a nest frantically and pulling out her fur to help build it, she seems to be protecting the nest by staying in it constantly and has become aggressive towards the male again by mounting him and he keeps mounting her. can anyone tell me for definite whether she is pregnant or not.

The doctrines of old battling the wisdom of the new. Kind of like what I do. Though I wonder what's wrong with a purpose driven church? I believe we all forgot our purpose in christianity.

Just because this guy has a new age background right away he is bad... That doesn't jive with me.

What do you make of this? What are your opinions?

We go to his "bar" about once a week to watch football, and that's usually the only time I drink. I had 2 pitchers of beer, and I also bought a mixed drink for me and his 2 friends (they buy me stuff all the time). As soon as I did he went off on me. At this time MY friend had just showed up. So he kept saying "you're not drinking anymore" etc, and making a scene in front of 3-4 people.

He said I was "drunk" because I thought the song "waterfalls" by TLC was either about AIDS or sickle cell anemia.. but I couldn't recall which one.

Why does he make a scene and what should I do to avoid it from now on? Should I quit going to his bar all together, in turn not allowing him to go either?

Been married for a one and a half years now and I have tried that "new man" stuff like trying to be open with my wife and be her friend, etc - but all it seems to have resulted in is one massive head f*** for me. When I have tried to open up or give my opinions about my wifes problems they go down like a lead balloon and upset her or- get this- she finds me "too positive" . All she wants is for me to do is listen to her problems but do nothing. I dont understand her and I personally dont like what I am becoming. However, besides this I know she is a good woman, and I know that when the time comes she will be a good mother.
So I have started thinking that the old school way of treating "wives as wives" and not as friends/soulmates is the way to go.
So my question is: have any married guys gone down this road of keeping a barrier between their personal lives and their marriages? And how has it worked out for you?

What is it tht one cant do with clothes on that they can do without em...what is it that is so liberating..i dont get it. and who invented nudism or nudist colony or whatever...nudists mostly say tht they feel free....how can u not feel free if u r wearing comfortable clothes..is being nude the only way?Where and how many followers of this concept exist..can anyone list any places or colonies in america where they follow this culture.
