Not every girl bleeds.

She also may not be a virgin.

If your looking for someone to say that she is not a virgin because there was no blood, don't believe it, because that is not always true.
You'll just have to believe her.

Not all virgins bleed!

Maybe she was a virgin, maybe not. It doesn't matter. She would have told you, probably the truth, so listen to her.

The reason for the blood is usually the breakage of a membrane called the hymen (look it up). It partially covers the vaginal opening. However many things can break it before sex. Horse-riding, bike-riding, other sports/stretches, accidents, tampon use, masturbation, fingering...

Also when it breaks it just doesn't bleed in some girls, and in others I have heard it takes more than one time to bleed. Or there was a small amount of blood and you didn't notice. Or the blood comes later. So many options.

You only see blood if the girls hymen is intact before sex. If this breaks during sex thats what causes the bleeding.

Your girlfriend either isn't a virgin, has broken her hymen another way (tampons, horse riding, riding a bike) or often there is so little blood that you won't be bale to notice it at all. Its a tiny minimal anoumt.

She may of not been a virgin before you guys had sex, OR if she is a virgin, her hymen could have been broken due to many things (like bikeriding, horse riding, etc) so don't worry. Or lastly, her hymen may be far up into her that you were not able to break it. Not everyone sees blood in their first loss of viriginity, its a general case.

It could be any number of things. The woman doesn't necessarily have to bleed their first time a lot of girls don't bleed til later on after they have had intercourse. I had sex for the first time and didn't bleed til later on that night and my gf didn't bleed at all she said so I guess it just depends on the girl.

You may not...

Sometimes a girls hymen has already been damaged from sports, aggressive use of tampons, masturbation, heavy petting, etc.

As well, sometimes the first time does not break the hymen.

Further, some women are born without one.

Many reasons, don't take that as her not being a virgin. If it was difficult, then she probably was.

1. You are too small/short
2. Hymen may already have broken at another time.

You can have sex for the first time and not bleed.

Its not necessary to bleed during first sex.forget those traditional thought.

Remember Hymen Is Not The Indicator of Virginity

some woman bleed and others don't, it depends on the girl. its not a bad thing if it didn't happen.
maybe later on, when you's are having sex more frequently, she will bleed a little because its all new. its nothing not normal though.
don't stress out.

because she may have broke her hymen at doing any number of things, exercise, sports or natural play.
some hymens are tough, some are not.
I hope you didn't spoil her first time by over-reacting to this, it's NOT that important.
