Most Israelis I know don't really care, they'll usually by whatever is at hand and/or cheaper. To me this is a shame, because I think Israelis should actively support Coca-Cola. Pepsi caved to Arab threats and refused to sell their products to Israel. Coke on the other hand did not discriminate and sold to Israel from the very beginning, even at the cost of losing Arab business. Personally, if I have a choice between the two then I will pick coke.

Its been a long time since I have been there but my perception has been that Coke is more popular there.

Pepsi gave in to the Arab boycott for many years so I think they entered that market late and probably never surpassed Coke's market share.

Quote from Wikipedia:
"A similar situation existed in Israel as in the case of Pepsi products, which were non-existent in Israel until the boycott began waning in the late 1980s."

i'm not sure, i know people are saying coke, but i just came back from a year stay in israel and EVERYONE was drinking pepsi, it was hard to find coke in some places although that doesn't mean to say that no one drinks coke - i saw a lot of people drinking that too. A lot of people are addicted to pepsi max - a disgusting drink that due to extremely high levels of caffiene is actually illegal in the USA

i like me some Cherry Coke! Pepsi tastes flat to me. No fizz. Over all, I could desire to assert that Pepsi does sell greater in grocery revenues, yet Coke sells greater interior the retail (eating places, quickly nutrition). international extensive, Coke does sell greater.

They are about equal, but since Coke has been in Israel longer, it became the generic term for cola
