personally i HATE em. What do you think of them remaking movies and do you think they will remake all the movies?

Doing a remake of a movie is like repainting a classic painting, the remake may be ok to watch, but the original would overshadow it too much.

Honestly, it all depends on the movie. Most of the time I prefer the originals; but sometimes, the remakes are good also. People have to take into consideration however that the originals were, the good movies anyways, always ahead of their times. The cutting edge of technology when the original was made was not necessarily computer animation or the 'green' screen. If you understand what the players (cast and crew of the movie) had to deal with at the time, you can understand and enjoy the results much better.
I doubt they will remake ALL movies, per se, but some directors have their own concept or view about a particular movie and want to do it with their vision in mind. It might be a movie they grew up idolizing as a kid; or just something they think they can do better, or with a different twist to the plot.
There have been, in my opinion, some movies that should have never been redone...or watched in the first place.

Remakes can be good or bad, it all depends on the team that is making them. They will never remake all the movies, or even all the popular movies. In movies, original ideas are few and far between.
I agree that the majority of remakes suck.

whenever they remake a movie, they usually end up butchering a classic. so, i pretty much hate remakes. and i do think they will eventually remake all the classics...because the writers are going to run out of ideas eventually...

some are ok and some suck.. I think the longest yard was better as a remake but no to many other movies..

they generally aren't as good.
the only one i think was better is the last king kong.
(with naomi watts, adrien brody and jack black)
