I wasn't sure why but I asked my grandfather and he said because the new trend was that preteens and young teens are starting to get pregnant more often. Do you agree or have a different opinion. I think that it's too young unless the parent really askes for it. Sides most kids in my schoo when we were in middle school were too busy with sports, homework, etc to think about sex so that's why.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant, but someone asked a question about alternative ways to celebrate Christmas, but since she obviously didn't like the advice that she got, she accused everyone of "preaching" to her, or trying to "proselytize" her, or of "making assumptions" about her beliefs (Of course people made "assumptions" -- the question was kind of vague. Duh!). I don't want to embarrass the person, so I won't post the question (you can find it if you must see it for yourself). This is not intended to be a personal attack; just a question about human nature.

If one doesn't like the advice that one gets, so be it, but why accuse other people of bad motives just because they gave an honest, heart felt answer to a vague question? What's up with that?

I've been in the University Chorus club for one year and have learnt some basic music theory. Now I want to start learning violin which I've been dreaming to learn for a long time. Hi! well, i'm 18 years old, and i really like this guy, i think he's in his 30s.. the age difference between us wont be less than 15 years. i'm quite hot, i believe so 'cause ive been told that by lots of guys my age.. i get asked out and stuff, i usually say no when i knw that it wont work out because i dont wanna hurt anybody, ive always been attracted to older guys. specially this guy, since the first time i saw him.. he is amazing, i doubt he noticed me, because usually when i'm around him, i'm in a huge group of people. anyway, as i said before lots of guys find me attractive, but ive never approached a guy before, i'm a bit shy.. specially when it comes to someone this old, it can be really intimidating, so any suggestions on how i can grab his attention?i do have his email, should i send him msgs from time to time? and then tell him that it's me?

We have a baby and we use a Vicks Vaporizer in his room (especially when he is sick). Well, now it seems we ONLY use it at night when he's sick.- mostly because my husband is against using it - b/c he thinks our house is too humid -and is the reason behind the sweaty windows. Well, it is doctor's orders to use it. Anyhow, all the windows in the house now have various degrees of inner-pane sweating . The windows are relatively new, apparently. I am aware that an inert gas (e.g. Argon) should be present between the 2 panes. Do all 'newer' windows (whether low, mid or high end) have this gas? Bottom line: My husband thinks the house (i.e. walls) will be damaged if we continue to use the Vapourizer. Is this true? I know with my previous house at this time of year (October) in Southern Ontario, I had sweaty panes once the colder weather arrived. This topic is becoming a sore-spot for us. If Vicks Vapourizers are so bad, why are all the parents using them for their sick babies?

As a pensioner I have long admired the Australians part in both WW1 and WW2 and the recorded bravery of their men and women.
I have learned more about the Australian culture as my Sister and her Husband have just spent a three month holiday there Travelling 1200 miles by air 600 by train and 2200 by car Cairns to Melbourne, on to Adelaide, up to Alice after calling at Ayers Rock then back to Cairns. My son's eczema has flared up so severely. I've never seen it so bad before. I'm not aware of any major changes in diet, use of soaps, or other environmental things. Does eczema get worse in the teen years? Anyway, I think the doctor should see him but I am not sure if it should be his allergist or a dermatologist.

I've had it with people talking on their cell phones while driving.
If you are going to use your phone, pull over and stop putting other inocent drivers, and other's in danger because their minds are somewhere else.
I've seen people fly through red lights while talking on the phone, stopped at a green light while they are talking and texting.
I still see 90% of people using them, without hands free devices.
And the text messaging bit while driving!!
