Satan can't convince me he is God. He is a god over children of disobedience. The ones who rebelled against Gods Love & Word.

So? You know them by their fruit. People who claim to be Christian, yet bring a different gospel or a different Jesus are deceived, because they didn't think what Jesus did on the cross is sufficient atonement for remission of our sins. So? This is where cults come from. They make light the power of the cross.

Because of one mans sins, we all inherit sin nature & die. Because of the righteouness of one man, we all inherit everlasting life. This is only fair. Jesus was righteous (without sin). So sin couldn't keep Jesus in the grave. Jesus Is the Resurrection & the Life.

If a Christian is truly baptized in the Holy Spirit & renew their mind in Gods Word; then they will follow after the Holy Spirit (faith, hope, love, joy, peace, honesty, truth, etc...). Rather than listening to the lust of their flesh (When the devil tempts us to leave God or to hurt so & so.)

Oh believe me, he is going to come here and try, and many will believe. In the Greek, the word 'Anti' as in Anti-Christ means 'instead of.' Our english language defines 'anti' as 'against,' so many believe he will come as a person that is against God, and everything He stands for. What we need to consider, is that the New Testament was written in Greek, so we must translate the word anti to the Greek for the correct definition. So, when Satan, comes as Anti Christ, he will be coming
'instead' of Christ, if you will. This means he will come back, just like Jesus will do. He can snap his fingers and make lightening come down from heaven, and make many wonder after him. He will take all your debts and pay them for you, but with a hefty price. Are you going to fall for his antics, or are you going to continue working in the field, (the earth) and wait for the true Messiah.

Oh yes, you betcha, Satan will make fools of many people when he returns to this earth, making them believe it is Christ to 'rapture' them away. Thing is, there won't be a rapture, Christ is coming here, and Satan is going to put on a show that will make even the christians wonder, but if you are truly a child of God, the Anti Christ can't do you any harm. When the true Messiah comes back and those that have followed the imitation, Satan, will be ashamed. Just allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you when you are delivered up to Satan. Keep the covering of Christ over your heads, and God will protect you.

Satan's purpose isn't to 'make people worship him' rather he wants to blind people and have them worship ANYTHING other than God.

He's much better at giving people satisfaction (though fleeting) in EVERYTHING that the world offers (His is the god of this world). His purpose is to hold our affections or misguide our affections (hearts) towards the vain, empty fleeting passions of this world and keep us from what truly satisfies namely Christ.

Some do worship him, but if he can get you even to think that you are god, he's fine with that also, ask the Mormons. Worshiping anything other than God is in a sense worshiping Satan indirectly, since (for now) he has been given dominion over the world and is the ruler of it.

He wants you to make or follow your own passions instead of following the true "living water" which is himself. Jeremiah put it well..

for my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Satan can appear as an angel of light, but those with the Holy Spirit living in them will recognize him.

He is incapable of making a true Christian believe he is God, but he is very capable of making others believe that he is God and does it every day. He has many people following him, believing that they follow God.

somehow the best minds of science or of non-western cultures can be 'decieved' all the time, but people who are candidates for the Jerry Springer Show are immune.

...to a "true" believer, Satan has no power... Christ has eclipsed whatever the devil thought he might have had... Satan is a defeated foe........ ( greater is He that is in me then he that is in the World)....

Would you know that it was god talking to you if he did? I guess it depends on what he is asking you to do.
