That God allows 'evil' to exist in the world because of the existence of free will. We are given good and bad choices in the hope that we will make the right one, and eventually go to heaven. If that is true, then what is the justification for the victims of those bad choices? For example, in the case of child abuse, the abuser has obviously made an immoral choice, and would presumably therefore be punished in the afterlife. How would a Christian justify the child's suffering, however? The abused child has not made an immoral decision. Their abuse in not the result of poor choices on their behalf. Please don't just say "it's part of God's plan" or "God gives us nothing we can't handle", I would like a logical answer as to how Christians can justify the suffering caused to the victims of other people's immoral decisions.

Would Hillary Clinton be a good foreign affairs President and how would she deal with China? Would she be like Bush is now and lead this nation into war? Has anyone asked her any hard questions on China and has she answered them?

we hear the horror stories from Canada and England... but are there horror stories here too?

I actually know people in this position personally:

http://www.redorbit.com/news/health/613741/costly_drugs_force_lifedeath_decisions/index.html?source=r_health

and people are even going outside of the U.S., due to the costs:

http://www.forbes.com/business/2006/10/25/health-medical-tourism-biz-cx_1026oxford.html

these are things that people talk about happening in Canada... but they seem to happen here too?

http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/76295.php

and that's not even looking at the stats of infant mortality rates or average life span:

I'm not impressed... and all this at a much greater cost:

Im a 19yr girl from Australia and am currently studying law at a really top university. I worked really hard to get to where I am and enjoy my course, although it is quite hard and requires a lot of work.

Recently I was approached by a modelling agent and after doing a few test shots and castings they offered to sign me! The only problem is that if I do sign with them I am obligated to go overseas for shows etc and have been told that I would not be able to continue with uni (at least in the short-term future). What should I pick?? Im really confused because I dont want to throw away all my hard work but the prospect of modelling is very exciting. PLEASE help!!!!

I have a house with approx. $100,000 in equity and rental income that's covering the mortgage payment + management fee. The mortgage is at a fixed 5.375%, fully paid in 10yrs.

I've been thinking about refinancing to get cash out in the hopes that I can make more aggressive returns with the money, instead of having it buried in a very slowly appreciating house. Based on loans I've investigated, I can only get about 40-45K in cash out and keep monthly payments low enough to remain covered by the tenant (buying points + closing costs will suck 4-6K out of the equity, too).

This would be an easier decision if I could get the same interest rate without buying points of course!

There was a flood in a village.

One man said to everyone, "I'll stay! God will save me!"

The flood got higher and a boat came and the man in it said "Come on mate, get in!"

"No" replied the man. God will save me!

The flood got very high now and the man had to stand on the roof of his house.

A helicopter soon came and the man offered him help."

No, God will save me!" he said

Eventually he died by drowning.

He got by the gates of heaven and he said to God "Why didn't you save me?"

God replied, "For goodness sake! I sent a boat and a helicopter. What more do you want!"

Rich was talking to his buddy at the bar, and he said, "I don't have a clue what to get my wife for her birthday - she has everything, and besides, she can afford to buy anything she wants, so I'm stumped."

His buddy said, "I have an idea - why don't you make up a certificate saying she can have 60 minutes of great sex, any way she wants it - she'll probably be thrilled."

So that's what Rich did.

The next day at the bar his buddy said, "Well? Did you take my suggestion?"

"Yes, I did," said Joe.

"Did she like it?" His buddy asked.

"Oh yes! she jumped up , thanked me, kissed me on the forehead and ran out the door, yelling "I'll be back in an hour!!"

I am really falling short of good advices. Let me tell you what problem I am facing.

I enjoy photography but I that is limited to just as a hobby. For casual photography I bought Sony Ericsson W810 mobile with 2MP phone. You may find this very funny but at that point of time I did not have money to put into a camera and also I did not have any passion for photography. Since then after having taken so many photos with the mobile I feel I have improved and my passion has increased. So now I am somewhat ready to buy a camera. Here lies the confusion.

I need your advice here. One of my friend who is an expert in photography tells me to go for Canon SLR which costs about Rs 20K. Another one tells me to go for Sony or Nikkon which falls within Rs 5K.

I do not want to work with a less expensive camera which does not provide good results. Did you have any similar experience like me? Should I go straight for an SLR or a normal digicam?

I've always wondered about this because we can have as many pets, friends, objects, aquaintances, etc. in our lives, but when it comes to love we're only allowed to be with one person at a time. I happen to love two different men and always have, but am unable to really "be" with both of them because of my being married to one of them. In a perfect world I'd be able to love them both openly, without hurting anyone, and although I know this is totally unrealistic, I often wonder why society has been set up this way. I also wonder if anyone else ever feels these things too.....
