About $70. plus the office visit. I had one removed, they coded it as surgery on my insurance. It didn't take long and wasn't all that painful. The deadening shots were pretty bad though.

The costs will vary from private hospital to private hospital. Most offer a package price for many procedures. However a cosmetic procedure like this will only be carried out by a plastic surgeon, so you will have to pay £150-200 simply to get an opinion on the surgery first.

Why not talk to your doctor. It may be sensible to have it done on the NHS. I know because I have had several moles removed on the NHS, of which a couple were on my face.

I have no idea what NHS is....but here in the US we would go to a dermatologist and in a few minutes the mole would be removed, probably cost about $65 or more. While you're there have them check for skin cancer (from suntan).

I don't know exactly, but it isn't too expensive, probably less than $150.00. It may cost more if the dermatoligist suspects a problem and wants to send it to a lab. Don't let the money or the fear of pain hold you back. It's well worth it and the pain is minimal.

In the UK it will cost you around £300-350.

'NHS' means the UK's national health system. Why are we getting all these brain-dead yankees on the UK site? They should watch Micahel Moore's 'Sicko'.
