Just started going out with a guy (five weeks). We're both 26. He phoned me once or twice in the first week but now he only texts me. He sounds alright if I phone but I feel bad because it feels like I am hassling him. I only phone him to sort out meeting up and stuff - only twice a week. Do guys find this a turn off? Why don't they like phoning girls?

A relative by marriage is suffering from cancer. He has a lot of excruciating pain and very recently was placed on morphine by intravenous. He was rushed to hospital after having a bad fall caused by his weakness and pain. The medical staff placed him on intravenous morphine. He wanted to go home. There's a hospital bed in his home to help him be more comfortable. What I need to know ..is morphine by intravenous more for t hose who are dying???

My parents were big on the whole "eat everything on your plate" thing; the reason that my fathr is now over 250lbs.

I was wondering if this behavior stemmed from growing up after the great depression when everything was scarce or especially from low-income families. Some older generations had this mentality and others do not so i was wondering where that mentality came from.

I am purchasing a scattergun soon and am in a dilemma. I know this is a 'Ford Vs. Chevy', but which is most reliable, has most custom options, (eg after market parts) and is the coolest. In early 2006, January, my aunt died

It devastaed my family and myself, at the time I was on olanzapine but was feeling its effects wearing off.

At the end of 2006, I was put on abilifiy, but I still have rarely taken it for the year I am supposed to have because of the side effects I felt.

However, now I am noticing I am getting extremely angry and painfully unhappy, a serious lack of peace.

I am even feeling suicidal, althoguh I don't think I will go through with it.

My question is, is the abilifiy likely to alleivate my pain to some extenet and should I begin taking it immediately? Because I feel unhappy 24 7 and have broke down privtaely a few times

A fundamentalist just said this meaning that if God didn't give us free will, it would be un-godlike. If he just programmed us to love him it would even be cruel. Here's more:

"Adam and Eve were made to love God. Would that love be genuine if it was forced? If they had no choice? Forced love wouldn't be love at all, in fact it would be cruel and un-Godlike."

So if that would be cruel, what do you call it when a god creates beings capable of experiencing pain knowing that their ultimate destiny is eternal torment?

I would like fundamentalists to answer, but ,of course, everybody's welcome.

And if you're just going to say, "Hell is a choice," "People send themselves to Hell" or as a fundamentalist member named Isaiah once said to me, "Read it and weep, sweetie," then don't bother answering, please. I'm looking for OTHER answers to this pivotal question.

I hear a lot of people with an unhealthy amount of disdain for "white men" when it was "white men" that built this country from nothing.

& guess what?

When the "white man" was doing all of those horrible things to the indians & later with slaves, did the "white women" protest?

Or did they sit back & enjoy the spoils?

Point is... Just because the "white men" held the guns, the "white women" had blood on their hands as well.

...& yet "white women" not only get away free, but get to join the attack on "white men."

Racism & sexism isn't cool... & YES, men can indeed be targets of both.

So to the racist & sexist haters of the "white men" ...Please lose the self-righteousness.
