Just started going out with a guy (five weeks). We're both 26. He phoned me once or twice in the first week but now he only texts me. He sounds alright if I phone but I feel bad because it feels like I am hassling him. I only phone him to sort out meeting up and stuff - only twice a week. Do guys find this a turn off? Why don't they like phoning girls?

I'm the same way. I dont like phone calls most of the time. Texting has become big in our age group and is quicker and easier(I think) to getting down to it. You also dont have to worry about saying the wrong thing or being nervous on the phone ;) It's okay to call him, but I wouldn't make a huge habit of it until the relationship goes further.

well the bloke that I have been seeing on and off for nearly 1 and a half years hates phoning anyone (so he says) and he also says he isnt that bothered about texting either but I find that rather a strange comment of his because he loves texting sexual things to me all the time so dont worry about it men are just strange creatures, try not texting him back and im sure he will phone you to find out why you havent. Tell him that your phone wont recieve texts at the minute I bet he will be straight on the phone

YES... A guy will almost always text as opposed to calling...
Reasons.
1.Conveinient
2.Its a was to show they care or are thinking of you without having to remove themselves from whatever they are engaged in.
3. Cheaper. Its sad but some guys prefer texts because its saves daytime minutes.
4. This one is backed by science but...... Women naturally have a better ability to multi task while men are massively unadvanced in this area. This way our one tract minds can stay on football and still say "I miss YOU"

From personal experience i find myself doing it but i juggle alot of things in a day so its convienient but that dosen't mean i like dont like that particular person ....

I prefer to phone people. I hardly use texts at all. I find that it is nicer to phone and chat to people rather than simply sending messages. A lot of the people I phone are women.

yeah. a lot of guys sound distracted and stuff on the phone, like they wish they weren't on the phone. but with texting you never know how they are actualy feeling. i don't hink twice a week is too much, ezpecially if you are just confirming plans

If I had a girl, I'd rather talk to her on the phone, although I know a lotta guys prefer texting... And I dunno why, you can have a better conversation on the phone... You can tell what the person is really meaning by voice inflection etc... I don't understand "not wanting to talk on the phone..." maybe you should just ask him about it...

I prefer texting because I hate talking too long on the phone.

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/djSqQ

Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.

The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.

Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.

well me and my boyfriend have been going out for about 5 weeks too. but we text and talk on the phone. i prefer talking on the phone cause then you can hear their voice (duh) and you can tell their emotions. it is much more meaningful to me. i text him when im kinda busy but still wanna talk to him. you could just tell him "i really like when we talk on the phone but whenever i call you, i feel like i am hassling you. am i? why do u like texting more? i wouldnt mind if you actually called more every now and then" good luck kayleigh!

YOU WANNA KNOW WHY !!?

Well honey, blokes can easily find talking to girls very uninteresting and tedious.

I don't like having my ear chewed off for an hour about rubbish that is'nt important.

Save the humiliation and brain tumors i say.

Figures, though...
