I am a Christian, and I just want to know what you would think of a Christian like myself who prays for you eventhough you don't share my beliefs? A Christians who cares about your well being without your knowledge? What would you think if I told you that the reason I do this is because that is what God commands? Love thy neighbor as you love yourself? Would you brush it off, or accept it as fact?

Driving on the highway in the country and you have to pee. You stop at the next gas station, only to find it is closed & abandoned. Do you hold it, get back in the car and drive away? Or pee outside somewhere like behind the building? Or even sneak inside through a door they forgot to lock and pee in the empty building?

My boyfriend and i were making plans for halloween night. Our children are too young to trick or treat so we were going to go to his moms apartment building because they were having some sort of thing in the lobby. Then I was going to go with my dad to visit my dying grandmother to show her the kids in there costumes. My dad and boyfriend dont get along so he wouldnt be welcome to go but he dosent really know my grandma anyways and we would have only been gone for 30 mins at the most and i told him this. Then we could have handed out candy or whatever for the rest of the night. He got so upset by this idea that he said me and the kids could do what they want he would make plans with his friends. Who is in the wrong here.

I use to crack up at The Cosby Show, Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier for a while, & Even Wings but these two shows s**k. Also Scrubs. I try to laugh at the Ok overthetop subjects. But there just stupid instead of funny. Everybody knew that no one would let things go like the characters in Seinfeld. But they made them likable. I don't like any of these new characters there creating. Just like the role Dowgie Howser plays in "How I met your mother". Don't like him. Yet I loved Sam Malone another womanizer. Join me in watching some good TV. Heroes, Bionic Woman, & The Women's Murder Club. All have great stories, humor (even better than the sitcoms these days), & hot babes kicking butt. Oh yeah I'm heterosexual and I also loved "Office Space" since I work in a office. Maybe one of my laugh genes is failing me these days but sitcoms now s**k.

I am 13 & I've been having problems with my mom lately. She's always in a bad mood, and she's always yelling at me for something. I tried talking to her, but she is NOT the type of person who sits down and talks things out. Unlike other moms who just calmly tell their kids the problem, my mom will blow up on me, then refuse to talk to me for a few days. Her behavior has been really bad over the past year. I know she's getting put under a lot of pressure since my dad's drinking problem has worsened over the past few years, plus she works the midnight shift at work. My mom is always screaming and cursing at me if I don't do something right, and sometimes she will hit me if she's really pissed. I feel bad because my mom blames me and she says I'm the one who causes all of the family problems.

Several of my aunts and cousins have even said that she needs anger management. I understand that she's probably under alot of stress because of my dad, but I just can't take it anymore.

I have been singing and acting for a few years and I am quite good at it.
I am going to be a music major in college and then I want to go to medical school.

I'm 15. I drink. I smoke. I have fun.
I don't drink to get drunk, or smoke to get high.
When I drink, I drink with friends, or if I'm having girl-trouble, because drinking & smoking (or blitzing) help me get my mind off of personal problems.

For some odd reason I never get caught smoking.. but often drinking. My parents yell at me, ground me, and attempt to prevent me from drinking, but why shouldn't I? I know for a fact that they drank when they were my age, why be so hyppocritical?

Drinking and smoking hasn't harmed me; I play sports and I'm really good at them (especially baseball if you want to get into specifics).

Why not drink?
In your various answers, please give me health, moral and others reason.

Many Christian denominations bless water and make it 'Holy water'. The same is done with wine and bread.

If a person possesses these items but does not know it, then is there going to be any difference in them?

I mean, does anything really happen to these liquids and bread, or is it just symbolic for those who believe?

I am a new wife. How can I balance work, school, and household responsibilities? I work at home but it seems I too often neglect domestic chores for my work (I am a freelance writer). The man of the house works a really shitty job and I feel guilty that the house is such a sty.
