Just like the experts say, Vietnam was a proxy war fought in a small foreign country because of the great differences of the superpowers. The superpowers know that they don't want war in their own country and they also don't want to destroy the world, so they fight out these smaller by comparison wars. Isn't this actually another showdown of power with our friends the Russians again?

One of my jokes for example, like the teacher was going "...So the girl never saw her greatest desire, how do you think she will be affected, and i said she'd probably go emo".
Was that a good joke (just an example of on of my jokes)?

No offense to emos, I know it was a bit stereotypical, sorry, but was it a good joke regardless of that, cuz of over here when people hear that they take it as the people who cut their self term?

Please give the most positive comments you can, don't make me think I should never make jokes again.

I met this dude, and he's 14, surprisingly, despite how he acts and how tall he was. I'm 16, almost 17, and he really likes me and I sorta have a soft spot for him. But I think I like him in a friendship sorta way, you know? But I don't know... I don't want to hurt his feelings, nor do I want to go to jail, lol... help, please? =(

être capon
être défropté
gaffer

So we're both 17 been going out for about 2 months. The other day she told me she wanted me to lay on her(NOT SEX, meaning with cloths on!). So anywho, while making out, I had a really hard erection. I know she felt it, but in either case, do most guys get like this in this situation or am I just especially horny or something?

I am ashamed to say that i am a mother who has recently found it incredibly hard to stop swearing. My son has now copied my most worst used word.

I realise i have to take responsibility for my own language, however i have noticed since i have become a mother, i have replicated many aspects of unwanted behaviour, of which is the same way my parents did to me.

My parents swore, mostlly in anger or frustration, and had a 'fly off the handle' temper. They smacked, sometimes round the head face, other parts of the body. I don't like myself as a parent and had tried not to smack at all...but have now started smacking my little boy at the age of 3.

I am ashamed to be a parent and really don't like myself for it, not to mention feelings of awful guilt. My son is everything to me and i love him dearly.

Don't you think Nascar would be a lot more fun if they raced in the figure 8? Maybe Nascar could also develop a Car of Tomorrow specifically engineered for train racing.

My son and his g/f and me, too...we step all over the place, people spit, my son's g/f works in a nursing home, my son works with folks all over the world, I do home health care...my shoes and theirs and have been everywhere...bathrooms, parking lots...that crap on their shoes and mine - why not ask them to take of their shoes before they come in? I don't want that crap in my house...think about where the bottom of your shoes have been...you want that in your house? In your kitchen? Bathroom? Why can't we be like the Japanese, don't wear shoes in the house? Do they have staph? We have a jillion immigrants everywhere...hillbillies, meth folks...they are spitting to show they are men and we step in it when we go to stores or gas stations and then we walk in our house...what is wrong with asking people to take off their shoes before they come into my house? Oh, also...my folks could have stepped in some old man's pee that he left behind at a store...take off your shoes?

I've heard great things about bamboo... It grows quickly, its durable, and renewable... But I have also heard bamboo is very invasive in some parts of the world. There are many species of bamboo, which is used for construction? And is that species invasive? I can't find any straightforward answers online. Any help?
