Even cats recognize a disappointed or angry voice.
Try medium sized toys, big enough for him to tumble with without making contact with you. Hold the toy while he plays to establish this is a play-time with you. If he reaches beyond the toy and grabs you, pull the toy away abruptly and out of sight while you reprimand him with a definite "NO". A few more words sounding disappointing wouldn't hurt. Not too long. Then bring the toy back to play. Don't forget happy sound effects too. He'll get the message. If he wants to play, he has to be nice.

A method I use with all my foster kittens, because they do alot of biting and scratching at that age, is simply to teach them the work "no". When they start biting or scratching alot, simply push them away gently, and say a firm "no". Then you engage play again, but make them aware that biting or scratching during playtime is unacceptable, and you reinforce that with the word no, and pushing them away, and yes, you'll have to repeat it ton's of times, but believe me, they get the message. I trained a 3 mos old kitten with that method to stay away from my Christmas tree last year.. it took about 1/2 hr, and it was just hiliarious...and it worked!! I've been successful doing that for years now... for me, it makes it alot easier to then adopt them out to prospective adoptee's. Best of luck!!

Use 'distance' toys. Roll balls of paper for him. Use one of those feather on a stick toys to help him play. Anything that keeps the kitten at a distance and moving.
It's no use spraying, he's treating you like he'd treat his litter mates--they do rough and tumble and bite each other till they learn not to bite so hard. It's instinct and he'll do this till he gets out of the phase and grows more mature.

Aw! I love Oreo as a kitten name! anywayz, i agree with the other guyz, play with a string. you will spend time with it, and you wont get hurt! and if you want to pet it, and stuff, wear long sleeves, make sure they are thick, it wont hurt when it scratches and bites! i Have a old cat, she does that ALL the time, but hers hurt more cuz she is older.

Play with a string or when he tries to do that tap him on the butt and try to snuggle with him and pet him get some string but if he continues then get some help by your vet or something. My cat is a butthead and very grouchy but he's a love muffin!
