Hello:
I am sorry but I disagree with this statement! My daughter is in elementary school and the lunch ladies are VERY CLOSELY monitored when it comes to preparing, serving, and throwing away any untouched foods that students haven't eaten. Before there were video cameras it could have happened like from the 1950's thorough the early 1980's,but not now. Alot of schools are monitoring the lunch rooms and cafeteria with video cameras and monitors, and if somebody tried to recycle uneaten food, they would definitely get fired,no questions asked!
It is a health and safety risk to other students as well as parents or other school staff that eat the cafeteria food to do something like that! Like I said, maybe this used to happen a long time ago before we had so much technology and so many ways to monitor people who work in the cafeteria, but not now!

The National School lunch program is administered through the USDA, with checks from the local health inspectors and various State agencies. The programs are closely monitored for food quality, food safety, and menu content. Truth be told, the quality of school meals overall is probably better than many restaurants. Lunch ladies take care of our most precious commodity - children. Lunch Ladies ROCK!

1. Disgusting...
2. Against health regulations
3. Feel free to take a video camera to school at lunch (without being confiscated)....setup a scenario to catch them in the act... leave an uneaten sandwich...or untouched apple etc.. and film the results from across the room, using some friends as a screen.
If they recylce the food, have your parents contact the local Fox TV Station (they love stuff like this) and send them the video.

False. They are closely supervised and they could lose their jobs and worse it they did that. An awful lot of school food is wasted. You should see the dumpsters.

It's against health regulations to do so, so I think that you are wrong.
