I know this may sound like a truly stupid question, and for that I apologize in advance, but I'd appreciate it if you'd indulge me.

I'm an agnostic theist. I know there is no evidence for God, etc., but I do have that sense that so many theists refer to that there is something greater. Christians call it "knowing in their heart," or the Holy Spirit entering them of having Jesus in their hearts. I just call it a sense that there *is* something more. It may not be "supernatural" or anything... it could just be a collective consciousness... but whatever it is, I call it God and believe in it despite the lack of evidence.

Many atheists point out that such feelings could very easily be the result of brain chemistry or such things or even mental illness.

I was just asking myself why I believe in God even though I agree with you guys on evidence requirements, etc. and the answer I came up with is this sense that God exists.

Therefore, what exactly do i need? And can i use all my ice hockey stuff, or is roller hockey gear different from ice hockey's?

Do you worry that future generations of LGBT people will just take for granted all that has happened for their cause in the years before? I think it's important that they should at least be given the knowledge of the struggle for equality. But who is going to teach them? Should it be on the school curriculum? I am just worried that future generations will become complacent, just as the generation I am part of is beginning too.

youtube.com has many clips of folks passing out at weddings: grooms, brides, best man, maids, even priests. I think it's cuz they're standing too long with locked knees cutting off oxygen to the brain....and perhaps a bit of anxiety.

The company I work in has a somewhat fair level of turnaround when it comes to employees, and only a few moment's ago, a new starter in the workplace just got up and left. Saying her farewells to those she got to know in the brief amount of time she was here, she said this job wasn't for her. This was something she felt she couldn't do, or rather wasn't mean't to.

So my question is this, are you still in a job that you feel you only do to get by, and do you feel there's the perfect job out there for you?
I gather most of you will say 'yes', but do you know what that dream job is, and do you know how to go about aquiring it?

My Partner, aged 60, used to race bikes years ago, has just purchased a 1983 Suzuki GS 750E for £200. It wouldn't start but after being collected by a local firm it has just passed its MOT with a new battery incurring the only expense.
My question is, 'is it a good buy for him, or a goodbye from me?'
