Who knows and who cares! We like to label everything that is not "normal". By the way, what is "normal"? Since we can't define such a word adequately, why should we give or withhold social benefits depending on that kind of label? All we do when we label a group is to make for discrimination to occur. Discrimination is illegal and the fact that we do it should shake us to our very bones. Let's turn around the gay issue and say things such as, "those folks are Christian - lets withhold medical care to them, or those people are females so let's withhold social benefits from them - their significant others can pay for them". To discriminate is not only bad social policy, it is irresponsible in the assignment of government benefits that ALL Americans should be able to enjoy.

I've heard this on right wing talk shows - but not anywhere else (that doesn't mean other people don't use the term). It means that there is an organized effort on the part of gay people to:

1. Have same-sex marriages and all of the privileges that married people currently have (financial, benefits, etc.)
2. Have homosexuality recognized in the schools (more gay-inclusive books, etc.)
3. Have legislation that makes it unlawful for discrimination (hate speech, hate crimes) to occur against gay people - just because they are gay.
4. In general, have homosexuality not seen as wierd or abherrant, but as something natural (like heterosexuality).

The gay agenda is to eliminate traditional standards. They want everyone to do whatever they want whenever they want with out an consequences. They want to eliminate marriage because they don't like the traditional family. This probably goes back to the time that they told their parents they were gay and planning to have sex with their partner in their parents house. When their parents got upset, the gay person decided that traditional marriage and families are bad. Since gay couples can't have natural children without help from someone from the opposite sex, they don't have a multi-generational view of the world. They live for themselves and for the moment. They don't like anything that involves thinking of other people who they may not like and they don't like to think about making the world better for future generations. They won't have anyone decadents in the future generation so they don't see a reason to care about the future generation. They live in the here and now and they want the world to change to fit their desires.

To live their life and to be left alone.

HEY! Just like you and me!

P.S. You should have "gay agenda" in quotes. Since it's an invention of the Rightwingnuts, not a real thing.

To force people to accept them. This is done by passing hate crime bills and "equal" rights bills.

Then when you use a racial slur, you commit a federal crime, but if you kill someone, that's a lesser crime.

And no gay person should ever get fired, turned down for a raise, credit card, apartment building, marriage license, etc.

Will you leave gays alone. If Larry Craig wants to have sex in public bathrooms that's his business. If Mark Foley wants to have sex with congressional pages that's between he and the page. If Ted Haggard likes male prostitutes that's his God given right. Please leave the Gay's alone.
