youtube.com has many clips of folks passing out at weddings: grooms, brides, best man, maids, even priests. I think it's cuz they're standing too long with locked knees cutting off oxygen to the brain....and perhaps a bit of anxiety.

First off, my hubby has been a wedding photographer for 30 years, and sees a lot of this. It has to do with the pressure that people are under during a wedding ceremony. It also happens at funerals, but a funniest video show wouldn't find as many laughs with the funeral clips.

Yes,but it could also be if the room is hot or if they had too much to drink or if they haven't eaten. But, it could also be the reasons you gave as well. Stress is probably the biggest reason.
