I would save my wife first. She is the person with whom I have chosen to spend the rest of my life. I would probably go back to try to save my mother. If I passes out, was saved by someone else, lived out the rest of my life and had to face my mother in heaven, I think she would think that I had made the right decision. She has given up part of her life in the past to make my life better. I don't think that she would want me to allow my wife to die just so that she can live. I really think that I could save my wife first and not have any regrets as long as I went back to try to save my mother second.

wow i mean i wouldn't know. .but i think for my case this would answer it self because my mom doesn't know how to swim and she would be panicking right of the back that she would drown faster ...it almost happened once in Tennessee at a river..

I would want to save both..

Dam i still can't choose.. and I'm not married so i don't know if i would choose my spouse or my mother..

I wouldn't be able to save either. I'm not a strong swimmer. I'd probably drown trying to save someone, so I'd stay out of the water!!

Coming from a mothers point of view,I would want my daughter to choose her husband and I think any mom who loves their child like I do mine would agree. So I would choose my spouse.

My mom has already lived a long, hard life, with much
pain and personal sacrifice, and she is now wheelchair-
bound, and the love of her life died over 20 years ago, so
I would let her go be with him.
