Do you take offense to anything Kevin Millar did or said(that video they played during the Red Sox-Orioles series)do to the fact that Millar once played for the Boston Red Sox and still has friends on the Red Sox team from 2004? Do you think of him as sort of a benedict arnold?

Bed sheets

An extremely modest man was in the hospital for a series of tests, the last
of which had left his bodily systems extremely upset.

Upon making several false alarm trips to the bathroom, he decided the
latest episode was another and stayed put. He suddenly filled his bed with
diarrhea and was embarrassed beyond his ability to remain rational.

In a complete loss of composure he jumped out of bed, gathered up the bed
sheets, and threw them out the hospital window.

A drunk was walking by the hospital when the sheets landed on him. He
started yelling, cursing, and swinging his arms violently trying to get the
unknown things off, and ended up with the soiled sheets in a tangled pile
at his feet.

As the drunk stood there, unsteady on his feet, staring down at the sheets,
a hospital security guard, (barely containing his (laughter), and who had
watched the whole incident, walked up and asked, 'What the heck is going on
here?'

The drunk, still staring down replied: 'I think I just beat the **** out of
a ghost.'

A number of employees are facing redundancy and with the Union the employers have devised a points system to keep a certain number of people. If you do not receive a certain number of points you are offered various options that do not include full time employment. I am NOT a member of the Union. Is there anything I can do?

Im 18. Im in college.There's this girl in my class.She's hot. She stares at me.While having an exam,and after she's done with the paper..She'll just stare. Sometimes,I just freak out.I look away. She'll continue to stare even when I catch her staring. She stares a lot.And also, If you don't like someone, will you keep staring at him/her? or you will just look away when you see him/her? (implying to the girl) could she stare because she hates me?
Its an intense stare. not smiling, but not frowning or scowling either. just normal facial gestures.But she doesn't stop staring,she continues. Why me? could she hate me or something? and no,I check there's nothing wrong with my face or anything. So why the heck is she staring? She stares straight in my eyes. Could it be an intense stare?. She gives me a lot of eye contact,but I look away.She gives me a lot of eye contact.So,does she stare because she thinks that I'm ugly. When she's near she wont look my way.4 days back,she was still staring.I ignored her. After a while,she stopped staring at me.She stares at me everyday without fail.Im a girl btw,SHE STARES EVERYDAY..Two days back,she was walking alone today. Why is it so many people are fascinated by watching others reproduce .
Is it that so many people are insecure and have a lack of knowledge about how to be intimate with others .
That watching others will some how be the key to understanding ourselves .
Reality T.V. has opened my eye's to the fact that people accept a tremendous amount of lying and actually seem to appreciate it and accept it .

Have we not diluted ourselves to the point we have become mindless consumers hypnotized by screens as small as a watch face to entire walls filled with endless tripe to occupy a meaningless life that serves only one's self .

final true value after negotiating a car's price? Is the Edmunds true value supposed to be the true value after negotiating/making the final decision? If the car i'm thinking about has a huge gash in the door from another person opening their car door on it, and 2 dents on the other side, could this take the cars rating down from excellent to good? The gash doesn't effect my driving/safety at all, but it is still pretty huge, and I might want to have the door replaced. Thank you very much for your time!!

I met a man...fell in love...got engaged...got pregnant...shortly afterward, I found out that he had another girl who was pregnant. Now, she was pregnant when he and I met, but he lied to me about even "being" with her. I tried and tried to get past it, but there were a lot of things I felt he was being dishonest with me about. Later, I talked to the girl, and she told me that the baby wasn't his. We still had trust issues, and I told him that we needed time apart, to sort things out.

That was about two months ago. We've been talking...he tells me that he loves me, and wants to work things out..always saying that I shouldn't hold something against him that was in his past. Then I found out he was engaged to the first girl. Days later, I get a message from his girlfriend (not fiance'..a different girl)...long story short...he's got four children on the way now. Two with the girl I knew about, (turns out they ARE his), mine, and another from after me.

I think i know someone likes me, and i like him awell
but theres a problem
he's never had a girlfriend and
i've never had a boyfriend.
i'm not gonna question wether he likes me becuase i just know by the way he acts around me and the way i'm around him is almost identical.
Okay so i've never even spoken to him except once on the internet.
He kind of hangs around with [[if i can call them this]] the "Popular" crowd but he's not like them he's different and i cant explain why he's just , well you can tell he's just with them becuase there isn't anyone else to hang with. I'm realy nervous around him so its hard to pluck up the courage to say anything to him or even look at him [ what would be a good way to get over this?]
and well about the people he hangs around with, there "Popular" which makes him that.It makes me feel a bit discouraged to know that well i'm not as popular as him although i have a fair amount of friends it still seems like he's better than me for some reason.
