There are no innocent Iraqi civilians whom share a house with known terrorist... Guilty by association.... Its these same "innocents" who wear civilian clothes and dial cell phone numbers that explode IED's and EFP's as convoys drive by. These same "innocent" Iraqi's who hide behind women and use children as shields to attack our troops. Sorry but you know what, either them or us....

Umm, yeah we fire-bombed Dresden, Germany during WW2 and killed 50,000 to 70,000 innocent Germans. It helped end the war by knocking the will to fight out of the Germans, thus ending WW2 quicker in Europe.

It is if your a terrorist and you need to stir up anti US sentiment. You get caught planting a bomb. You run into an occupied house with innocent people in it, knowing the enemy will follow and jump to the conclusion that it is an insurgent hide out and all inside are considered hostile. The result is a foregone conclusion..Innocents are killed, the general population is in an uproar and terrorist recruitment is on an up swing. Every insurgency conflict since man picked up a rock has done the same thing with equal results. It is a catch 22 status. If you go in thinking there are innocents, you will loose military people if there are enemy in there using the innocents to hide behind. If you go in thinking they are all enemy you stand to take out innocents used as shields-it is a no win situation, from a public relations stand point.

Hey, if you shoot a terrorist, then you are doing a great thing.,.... If those terrorists just happen to be hiding in a house with civilians, well the soldiers should know not to shoot at the civilians, but S*** happens...(Ricochets, shrapnel, etc)... But if all the insurgents died, then I say mission accomplished...

Collateral Damage.. Its been like that since the first wars ever fought... innocent people always get caught in the cross fire. Quit complaining about it, its not going to change anything.

since when was war about making friends?

Heaven Forbid we hold the terrorists responsible for 1) building and placing the IED, 2) endangering the lives of the "Civilian" family (assuming they WERE actually innocent). how can you fault our military, when the enemy is the ones who put the civilian population in harm's way???

the short sightedness of some people (Yes, you) amazes me sometimes.

well all those people have kids and family's. those people will be angry for the deaths of there loved ones no matter how guilty they were, and intern there will be more extremists hateing America.

America Carnot keep fighting this conflict like a war, they have to isolate extremists from the more moderate people just like the English did with the IRA.

Blame the terrorists for hiding among civilians not the US for trying to kill them.
You sound like the type of person that would blame a cop for shooting a bystander as an armed gang of thugs runs into them for cover.
Innocents shouldnt be targetted and every precaution taken to ensure their safety but SOMETIMES things happen and they cannot be kept safe. Welcome to the real world.

ok, i really don't understand why we are even at war. what happens in the middle east had been going on for ever over basically religous fights, did any one come over and interfear with the war of the rebels and the yankees? no, so why is it our business? no one in the whole worlds agrees with us, and we are a target for nukes all over the world because of it. Bush is a fuucking moron, and is only in this for the money he is getting from the Bin Ladens. You people would **** if we had war in our country. your children and family dying over what? what? everything is so wrong, you don't disarm a country by shooting at them. by pissing them off even more. this war is going to be going on for a long time, because of what the president stirred up. we are fuucked.

I'll just say that if I was a terrorist on the run from US Helicopter GUNSHIPS, I WOULD NOT RUN TO MY HOME WHERE MY CHILDREN AND WIFE ARE STAYING.
Then again, that's just me.
