I found two HUGE bees in the past week near my house in central NJ. One was dead on my deck and one was alive on my screen door this evening. They are seriously the largest bees I have EVER seen...about the size of a large cicada. They have fuzzy upper bodies and yellow and black striped lower bodies. I looked at pictures of carpenter bees and they don't really look the same. Anyone know what kind they might be?

how to reassure my ex boyfriend? guys, i need advice!!!?
my boyfriend of 3 yrs recently dumped me. he is threatened by my independence. he feels emasculated and disrespected by my other male friends and independent life of him. he is 37 and im 25.


im sooo in love with him and love him to death. i would do anything to get him back. its been 15 days since we last spoke to eachother. im deathly afraid of making a wrong move.

if i call him, i dont want him to think that i cant respect his decision or appear "clingy or desperate".
if i dont call him, i dont want him to think i no longer want to be with him or am with someone else

we want to buy a piece of land and build on it. how much do you think it would cost to build a home? nothing big, a modest size, 3 bedroom hoome with about an average square footage. i am think 1500 is average?? correct me if i am wrong. with an unfinished basement too.

While my mind wandered during cross country practice I began to contemplate this. It seems that tears are just salt water, but they are produced by a gland, are they not? So it seems that they should contain DNA. Does anybody know the answer to this?

I work for a landscaping company. The other day, they hired a woman. she's one of these idiots that think a woman can do anything a man can do. As we went out to the job site, she learned that carrying heavy lumber, mixing and pouring concrete and pushing a wheel barrel full of dirt was not as easy as it seemed. It turned out that I had to do my job and pick up her slack as well. At the end of the day, I told my supervisor that since I did my job, plus half of her job, I want half her pay. He agreed. he owed her $120.00 but only gave her $60.00 and gave me the ballence. She threw one of those feminest hissy fits and quit on the spot. (he was going to fire her anyway). my question is, because stories like this happen everyday, are women really that stupid to think that "equal work for equal pay" should be taken seriously? Do they ever think that maybe if they actually did equal work, they might get ahead in this world? I know they are less intelligent than us, but this is a no-brainer

I'm 33 years old, and though I earned my college degree back in 2000, I'm still working mostly menial jobs. Not only that, but I have no friends and I'm single. I'm lonely and since I don't have a career, I feel like I'm going nowhere fast. I pretty much would like to stop living, but suicide isn't an option, since I'm my mother's only child and I don't want to leave her alone in her old age. What can I do? I have a red ear slider and im just wondering if i can leave him in the aquarium with my huge pear gourami? Ive left him ther before and all he does is swim around and the fish dont seem to mind but im concerned if hes having difficulty swimming all the way up ( a meter ) to the surface to breath. Is he ok with being constantly under water?
