I'm just curious, with all the "most beautiful" lists coming out and filled with older actors, how many women / men would date someone older than themselves? How old are you, and how old would you be willing to go? Why would you be attracted to them?

I am concerned about my nine month old daughter. She has started banging herself against her highchair and against her crib rails (we took the bumpers out when she started to pull up). She seems to do this only when tired or cranky. She's been a "rocker" and a "head bopper" to music for quite some time, which we always thought was cute. But now I'm worried (probably because I work with kids w/ autism.
She's very normal/bright otherwise. She responds to her name and to simple sentences, makes great eyecontact, claps and waves bye. She's quite expressive and tries very hard to talk and communicate, so I wonder if this is just her way of letting out frustration. Of course the new mom in me is scared it is more serious. Is this something I should take her to the doc for or let it run it's course?

I am a student at a high school that uses the Integrated Mathematics Program. I really would like to see actual statistics that show IMP is a better way of learning math than traditional math lessons. I really do not feel that I have learned much and there is no possible way to study out of the textbook. I consider the textbook to be a book full of questions rather an actual learning tool because there are no lessons in the actual book. The only information given about how to solve the problem is given by the teacher and it usually is brief and what is I believe, not much use in real life, unless if I were to figure out the probability of events or finding out how to put a certain problem in summation notation. Most of the students I know do not like IMP and were so glad they had traditional math problems on our PSAT, rather than all word problems. Please show me official statistics that show IMP is a better way to learn IMP, and your own personal opinions.

Scientist can determine the age of ancient objects by a method called radiocarbon dating. The bombardment of the upper atmosphere by cosmic rays converts nitrogen to a radioactive isotope of carbon, 14C, with a half-life of about 5730 years. Vegetation absorbs carbon dioxide through the atmosphere and animal life assimilates 14C through food chains. When a plant or animal dies, it stops replacing its carbon and the amount of 14C begins to decrease through radioactive decay. Therefore, the level of radioactivity must also decay exponentially. A parchment fragment was discovered that had about 78% as much 14C radioactivity as does plant material on Earth today. Estimate the age of the parchment.

No idea where to start on this one?

I'm interested in how everyone else is. My male friend (in another part of the country), says that he has never had a female friend without "messing around" with them.

Myself, I have more best friends that are guys for some reason.

Maybe I just wasn't in tune with my body well enough. But I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced it, how common it is and how to tell the difference of if I am starting my period early (cycle day 21 of a very regular 30 day cycle) or if its implantation bleeding? So the questions are: have you ever experienced it? How do you tell the difference? Thank you!

I am working in a MNC co.,Now I got an offer from similar company and gave my resignation to my co of 1 month. But they refused to give my relieving letter. My new co., will not allow me to join without relieving letter.Almost 2 weeks left to join there and here I have taken around 4 days leave during the time of notice period.

First Q: Is there any legal regulation for the companies in respect to notice period and relieving letters.

Second Q: The leaves that I have taken will affect the notice period?

I have quadruplets andthey're conjoined. Two at the butt, and two at the eyeballs, should I have them seperated? They frighten me, they're always fighting each other and throwing things at me. They blame me all the time for them not being 'sexy' enough and they love to wear fishet stockings and mini skirts. Really absusive to me they are, though they get everything they want. Should I go aherad with the operation, so that they can try out for the Double Mint commercials or leave them be? BTW, they're 30 yrs. old!

I will read and consider all responses, but quoting the bible is 1) baloney because I don't believe in the bible, and 2) it is way too information to read and more than required to respond to the question. Especially when it is multiple pages long.

So for convenience more than anything, so that I can read the other posts that aren't rants, I thumb down the long preachy answers and move on.

Is it just me???

This isn't for homework; it's mentioned in a book I'm reading. Wall Street predicted there'd be an announcement of 400,000 new jobs for the quarter. A gov't official 'leaked' that there'd be just 200,000. Treasury bill interest rates immediately fell from 8.00% to 7.90%. Please explain the reasoning behind this.
