Yes, many times, God's ways are not ours and so, His answers to my prayers can even amuse me! Fact is, He does hear them all and He does answer them all too!

I have prayed for less, when my daughter has been in the hospital and God has given me more! I was told that Cindy was losing the kidney I gave to her! I cried out to God for the kidney to at least last long enough to find another donor! Instead, the rejection stopped and she returned to a happy, healthy life!

Now, that's God and that's LOVE!

Of course! If my prayer had been answered the way I had wanted, I would have married that guy, probably end up divorced and stuck in the little town.
Instead, I married who I did, and am still happily married after 21 years.

Of course, this happens a lot. Also, if you ever pray to give your life, issues and problems to God and to have Him brings you out of this better than before, just realize you may have to do uncomfortable or uneasy things. But trust that God knows best and just give Him the reigns. God bless!

Yes, I recall about 15 years ago, jokingly I said, God if you could take away my womanizing ways and my smoking I could be a preacher. Within a couple of years and after many futile attempts, I soon discovered my lack of sustaining an erection was not temporary. I asked and God answered.

I recall the time, I lusted after this woman, even through it was beyond my ability to have her I still lusted, I asked God to take the burden from me, that I was weak and I needed his help, within 10 seconds, my two finger which I was caressing her leg went completely numb, and my lips to which I had pressed against hers also. A short time later, I saw this woman in the nude, my eye became infected, and I was unable to see for about a year, out of that eye.

This woman asked me to help her remodel her daughter's room and as I was laying tile, she walked in with a next to nothing nightie, I felt weak in the knees, and could not breath, nor move, I said please God, don't make me paralyzed.

Ever since then, it has now been about 5 years, I do everything God the Father, wants me to do, if my heart tells me something is wrong I don't do it.

It is like when I was a kid, my mom would get a look on her face and says so and so called me and I know what you did,
I think and think, who saw me, and what was I doing. It was my mom, I didn't want to lie to my mom, but I didn't to get in trouble for something she didn't know I did either. I would rip myself apart inside trying to figure out what she knew, until I could not take it anymore, and spilled my guts about every bad thing I had done, no matter how small, like that movie "Liar, Liar" when the cop stopped him. But it felt good after everything was out, and my mom said, oh you did, did you, but I was referring to the lady you help across the street.

From that moment on I said to myself, if ever I think that what I want to do may be bad, I think, " would I be ashamed if my mom knew" it kept me out of a lot of trouble. I look at God as my mom, would he be proud of me or ashamed of me, I would have loved to have had my dad say, "I'm proud of you son"

Yes. Many times, we pray for what we want, instead of what God wants for us. We should pray for answers to our delimmas, knowing that God will guide us through our trials.

Yes, when I prayed for the amputee down the street, that he would get a new leg.
Well he didn't get a new leg, and that wasn't what I thought it would be. I thought he would get a new leg.
Dammit, what did I do wrong...

Yes. I prayed for a Pepperoni Pass Pizza, and they forgot to put in cheese!
