Like say, seeing their unusual name everywhere, hearing songs and bands that they introduced you to, seeing posters for stuff they got you into...

It's happenning to me. I'm not asking for advice, just felt like asking.

I've had it happen.

And YES, you can be over the person and still have all of those weird things happen to you. It might be a sign that maybe that person is going through a bad time, or you're experiencing the same feelings for someone new that you felt for the person you're over.

No even worse I ran into her and started having lunches with her and then she married one of my friends. But its okay cause she cheated on him with a singer from a rock band.

because whether or not your over someone, at one time your mind was completely focused on them, and so your going to notice things you wouldnt have noticed before this person, whether or not your still emotionally attached to them

you're clearly not over them b/c honestly, we are exposed to so many songs, signs, etc etc everyday that your brain has to be cued into specific details in order for you to notice them.
it's not coincidence, it's the way you're thinking...
