I hope to be accepted to a prestigious university such as Penn, John Hopkins, Columbia, or Stanford(my first choice). I studied abroad for a summer in France, worked for a year, been in french club and ski club for four years, played piano for 12 years, mentored kids for 2 years, volunteered at a hospital for a year, and accumulated plenty of other volunteer hours. I have a 4.0 unweighted gpa with all advanced classes. However, my counselor says the lack of leadership (ivy leagues want students who were the president of a club) could kill me in the admissions process. Is this true, do I still have a chance? Also, isn't a job and mentoring just like a leader? Please help me with this leadership thing, will it really kill me?

Occasionally users say they are more comfortable being their true self here, where all the stigmas of modern society are removed.
On the Internet no one judges you by appearence, or what car you drive, or how much money you make.
So are we seeing the true you, a part of you, or the total opposite of who you really are?

yet the verses are so vaguely quoted that they can be intrerpreted in many ways depending on the person reading it(just as the book of nostradamus is today). you can't say that the quran is scientific accurate as this is clearly false or you would say the book of nostrasamus (much higher hit rate) is real as well.

I am not trying to be mean, I am just very curious because many girls and women I know tend to want meat during or before their cycle begins, myself included.

What cravings do you have now that you are vegetarians? If you are a recent convert, what foods do you find are a good substitute for meat cravings? I usually eat bison steaks around my time because they are full of lean proteins and lots of iron and minerals, and I never have PMS of feel bad or crampy.

I'd like to know if you don't mind, a simple recipe for your favorite craving food? I am willing to try a new thing.

My boyfriend and I were having sex and the condom broke early-mid way... he had not ejaculated yet and had not for a few days before...could I be pregnant? I also keep in mind that I am now living with 6 other girls and had some stress witht hem and my boyfriend a week before my period was supposed to start...could that be it? I have no real friends,no boyfriend,nothing to motivate me. The only thing I really care at this moment is my big brother,nothing else is important to me in this moment.He is the only person I can talk to. I have good parents,but I don't like talking to them. Why is it that many of today's Christians feel the need to destroy someone else's belief? I have seen many so-called "Christians" tell other people that what they believe is wrong even though they are doing their best to live a Christ-like life, but yet those who say it is wrong don't even follow the teachings of Christ themselves. What I have seen in mainline society is that no one takes the time to understand what someone else's believes. They just assume from maybe what a neigbor said that it has to be wrong.
