going out with my friends is something a hardly ever do, i have been mairried for 2 years and only been out maybe 2 times and thats on birthdays with friends. i would love for my husband to come with me but he dosnt want to. my problam is it really not a deel with him to go to a boob bar until i go out of town. i leave friday afternoon and now he and his buddys are hinting around that they want to go. like i said why when im goin? and why cant i go out with my friends. what should i say or does anyone have anything to say about this?

i herd it to on jump start on vhi it was like 6:30 this morning and it was obviously a good looking lgiht skinned mixed guy singing about different races. the people were all wearing one love shirts but i know thats wasnt the name of the song there was also a rapper in it and it was like duznt matter to me or somthing.it had a such a good message does anyone know the name of this song or singer

A coworker's daughter is doing an assignment where she has to ask her relatives and friends if they boycott any companies and why. She has to just list the reasons.

This got me wondering how many people out there actually do boycott companies. So I asked around at work and was surprised at the number of people who crab & moan about things being made in China, companies that test on animals, etc. but don't boycott the products - they see a bargain, they buy it. If you do that, don't crab then.

I watch the list of companies that test on animals & don't buy from them. I do not buy French wines or German chocolate. I don't shop at Target or Starbucks and have started to really watch my labels on clothes and other items. I've put down a lot of items in the last month that were made in China. Amazing how much stuff is made there. I know there is a lot that we cannot detect from the label but I'm going to do the best I can by not buying these items.

Hershey is out too.

Wondering why I ask this question? Well, I'm living in a world where many people expect great things from me... Pressuring me and all those stuffs... but I find it hard to believe because despite the effort that I excerted, many people will still say bad things about me.. and criticise what I've done or even criticise me as a person... Despite this, I'm still doing my best and I'm a bit confuse because people expect many things to me but they are not doing anything to make their own lives better.. They criticise me without even thinking about their own lives... Without even appreciating the efforts that I make just to make them happy even if sometimes I know it's already beyond the limit or hurts my feeling already.. I just want to see them smile... But what a heart! I mean, I think they don't know how to recognize a sacrifice...

I am a 47 year old woman with Type2 diabetes. I had heart surgery in December of 06. I am on 3 types of insulin to control my diabetes. I was diagnosed 5 years ago and have progressed to the meds (insulin) I take now.

I have gained alot of wieght since the surgery. I eat very little. I get some exercise but having neuropathy in my feet and legs makes it painful to walk etc. What can I do to lose weight and stop gaining.

I see my doctor on a regular basis. She doesn't have any other options for me. I just want to lose and keep the weight off.
Can anyone suggest something to help.

Hello, I'm trying to glue pieces of cardboard (which will be wrapped in tin foil) to my black gloves which are made of wool (it's for a Halloween costume, I'm going as a robot.)
What is the best gluing solution to ensure that the piece of cardboard doesn't fall/slide off when I'll be wearing them?

I was very much attached with a guy recently. He is a married guy but seperated from his wife for the past 4 years. I didn't fell in love with him but i am really attached to him very much. Now, his wife has reunion with him. I have to limit my realtion with him and hence i have minimize my contact with him. But really cannot forget him. almost everyday i am crying missing him. I am feeling like i have lost someone in my life. For me, he was like a precious gift in my life. But now no longer in my life. I really want to come out from this feelings. I want him to be happy with his family. i really want to stop missing him. I am praying dailly to overcome this. But still having difficulties. Can anyone help?

Its been a month since my being at my job for a year and I have not recieved a review for a raise or to see what I am doing wrong or right. Despite the fact that I work as a receptionist at a car dealer ship I am still entitled to a raise! How do i go about by asking for this? I know I can do it but I don't want to make it seem like I think I deserve it...even though I know I do as well as the guys and people that I work with that are not my managers. The girls in the office are so clicky and it seems like they have forgotten that its been a year for me..even though on my one year I brought in begals and cookies for all the people that I work with..which is well over 100 people. Not to say that I was doing that to butter them up into giving me a better raise..its just what I do...but anyways my question is..would you bring it up to your bosses if it was a month past your one year mark?

My mother was just admitted to the Hospital for chest pains and I live several hours away from her. I called the Hospital and they wouldn't tell me what was wrong with her or why she was there, just that she was alive and they were doing test.

She has an abusive boyfriend, and I tried to ask the nurse if it was trauma related and she wouldn't answer me, so I proceeded to tell her that the gentleman she was with has a history of abuse and she didn't seem like she really cared. Told me "Ok sir, have a nice day," and hung up.

What should I do?

my ex told me that im a psycho and that untill i change she doesnt want to be with me. we were fine untilll like 8 months ago she became a B*tch and tryid telling who i can and cant talk to to so i listined and when i aske her to do the same for me she said ok but did it anyway never respected my feelings or anything. The problem is that i really love her and care for her how can i get her to be respectful and just be a good girlfriend ?
