I was dumped on several occasions. It is a very painful feeling. These break ups occurred 14 and 20 years ago. I was heart broken. However gradually and slowly I got over it. These girls did not have the priorities right and neither had their heads screwed on right either. They did me a favor. Also in the long run it was a blessing in disguise. If I stayed with either my life would have been a living nightmare. I have been married for nearly 10 years now. My wife is a wonderful person who really loves me. We are very happy together. The other 2 girls can go to hell.

First... start thinking of her as an ex-girlfriend, with no hope of getting back together with her.
Second... get your own place. There is no reason for you to be staying at an "ex" girfriend's house (for school, or any other reason). Get some game, and move on !!!
Then, realize that there may be reasons that she broke up with you, and there is nothing wrong with self-improvement. But, that is not the reason that she broke it off with you.
The reason that women break things off with men, is because there are other men involved. THERE IS ANOTHER MAN IN HER LIFE - ACCEPT IT AND GET OVER IT IMMEDIATELY - Almost all women have low self esteem, and are usually incapable of moving on alone. (Reason ?? Going back to caveman times, they would not have been able to survive alone... it is still hard-wired) Today, they wait until there is interest from another suitable prospect, and then break off the relationship. (in this case, with you).
That does not feel good, my Yahoo! Answers friend, I know. So, what do you do to make yourself feel better ?? Living well is the sweetest revenge.
If there were problems that led to your breakup (we all have problems) try to work on them. Women want men that are kind, supportive and successful in what they do. Try to be those things.
Then, start dating someone that is hotter than her; has a better attitide, and has better career prospects !!! If she has hot friends, that's a great place to start.. it has been eight months.. so, no waiting period required !!! Good luck !!!

Get a job, move out and pay ur own rent and voila. move on stop wasting ur time on her. love is all about accepting one's differences instead of acting like a total control freak. that totally sucks

Do you really deserve to be treated that way? I think any self respecting guy would move on and be glad to get rid of the evil ho.

You don't want to be controlled by anyone. She's the one with issues. Tell her you love her but she has to stop being controlling your not going anywhere you want to be with her.
