Wondering why I ask this question? Well, I'm living in a world where many people expect great things from me... Pressuring me and all those stuffs... but I find it hard to believe because despite the effort that I excerted, many people will still say bad things about me.. and criticise what I've done or even criticise me as a person... Despite this, I'm still doing my best and I'm a bit confuse because people expect many things to me but they are not doing anything to make their own lives better.. They criticise me without even thinking about their own lives... Without even appreciating the efforts that I make just to make them happy even if sometimes I know it's already beyond the limit or hurts my feeling already.. I just want to see them smile... But what a heart! I mean, I think they don't know how to recognize a sacrifice...

If these people are your friends or your family, you need to tell them exactly what you are saying here. You need to let them know the pain and confusion you feel about their behavior. Listen to their side of the story, and keep the communication going. If they love you and you love them, you can work something out to stop the damaging behaviors. Maybe there is something on both sides that needs to be said or understood. You deserve great happiness, but you have to be willing to work to get it with the people that matter most to you.

There was a time in AmeriKa... before that stupid Political Correctness... when, if someone did something stupid, then other people could say "THAT WAS STUPID"... but today... with P.C. and the extremely low standard for education.. where it's more important to FEEL GOOD about being dumb rather than trying to LEARN... you can't TELL some moron just how stupid they are... so, when people get a chance to tell them just how dumb they think they are... they get expecially vicious about it.
