I am not questioning whether we should have works or not. I am not saying works are not good. I am just asking if the play any role in salvation. In Romans we are told that one who does not work, his faith is counted for righteousness. This verse clearly states that someone who does not work is considered righteous because of his faith. So why do so many think works are a necessary part of salvation? Please do not quote me James. James is talking to people who are already Christians. He is telling us we should work not that it will save us.

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

We are trying to close on a house with some office who I believe to be crooks (they messed up the 1st deal,they never return our or the owner of this house's calls,& they take money & won't give us a reciept,ect.) The only time they actually call is to ask my husband for money!
I know they're running a scam,but how can I get some quick action?
We already moved in & are putting everything in our names (electric,gas,ect) but I am afraid the owner of this house is going to get tired of waiting & tell us to move. How can we stop that from happening/? I like this house,I don't want to move!! The owner came & got his stuff out of the garage & said he doesn't know what happened to those guys (in the office). Why is he still taking his stuff?
If there are any lawyers out there reading this,PLEASE email me ASAP..I am so tired of all this house BS & just want it to end. It's been going on since April of this year. Also they made the co-signer sign a contract but won't give us a copy.Help!

i'm an engineering student and the topic we're discussing in analytic geometry right now is about family of lines..but i don't understand how we are going to get the other member of the family of lines when the only given is the slope.oh geez!!i have been surfing the net but i've seen nothing 'bout that topic..yeah, it includes the parameter but we're not in vectors yet.please help!!if you have ideas about what i'm saying, share it please...thanks!!

i met this married guy three months ago, he invited me to go out & have dinner since Ive helped him in a certain business project. We had fun together although we both knew that were comitted. Still, we continue to hang out. One time, we were both drunk and something happened to us. I try to end it since weve gone through very quick. But he keeps on saying he loves me so much & vice versa. Now, i felt guilty & trying to get him out of my life, but he keeps on calling & texting me.... I really feel sorry for my husband, most of all, i felt guilty. How can i end it up to him? Knowing the he throws away all my worries in life and he brighten my day. Even im saying goodbye... my heart says no. What should I do?

I'm coming out of a 16 year marriage and quite frankly, I'm just not into getting remarried. I dislike lying to anyone, but I feel terrible inside when I KNOW all I want is sex and friendship. I want there to be a connection, but I just don't want the responsibility of having to report to someone. I do not want to use or abuse a WOMAN's feelings/emotions, and I do want to care about her, but really, I just want someone to have sex with. SOMEONE means a WOMAN.

Quite frankly, I do not know how to respect a woman who is just in a relationship for sex. I feel like I'm sliding on a double edged sword.

My sleeping patterns have been so erratic the last few years. We got a new mattress and I seem to be more comfortable now, but once in a while I wake up coughing (coughing hard by the time I realize I am even awake) and sometimes even throwing up a little bit , it reaching my throat. It seems as though the throwing up thing only happens when I eat later at night(but why?) but the coughing happens more frequently. Is it possible that I am coughing because of some serious sleeping disorder? My husband does say I sleep with my mouth open and sometimes it sounds like I am "choking on my tongue" Should I have this professionally checked or seeing as this only happens once in while, am I OK?
