Gore got into Harvard because his father was a prominent U.S. senator. (When George W. Bush got into Yale, his father was a comparative unknown -- a mere congressman, on the verge of losing his first race for Senate. He was a Yale alumnus, but so were a lot of other boys' parents.)

Gore continued his mediocre performance at Harvard, ranking in the bottom fifth of the class for his first two years. In his sophomore year, the Post reports: "Gore's grades were lower than any semester recorded on Bush's transcript from Yale."

Gore could not complete either divinity school or law school at Vanderbilt, failing five of the eight classes he took in his three semesters at divinity school. Exactly how many classes do you have to fail to be called dumb, if you're a Democrat?

Meanwhile, the “Dumb Guy” was earning his MBA from Harvard.

Father, as your flawed and mortal child, I do fear your bold
revelation of yourself. We humans are mortal and frail in
comparison to your blazing glory. But I have confidence in my
relationship with you through Jesus, and dear Father, I want you
honored and your name revered in my day. I am tired of hearing your
name used in vain and your glory profaned. Exalt yourself before
the nations! Reveal your holy majesty so that everyone will know
that you are the only true and living God! In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen.

A 15.0 kg block is attached to a very light horizontal spring of force constant 550 N/m and is resting on a smooth horizontal table. Suddenly it is struck by a 3.00 kg stone traveling horizontally at 8.00 m/s to the right, whereupon the stone rebounds at 2.00 m/s horizontally to the left. Find the maximum distance that the block will compress the spring after the collision.

Since it was introduced after the lockout, it has ballooned to a point where after a meager 4 years its already almost double what it began at. Does it need to keep expanding to keep players playing harder to seek the incentive, or should it be froze to not expand ticket prices back to ginormous sizes (again)? Or should we go back to free-market again?

Last night when I stopped to gas up my car I could hear "Sweet Caroline" being sung very loudly (and drunkenly) from the bar next door to the gas station. It reminded me of the times I had heard that song from their perspective, with a beer in my hand, and I STILL couldn't stand it. That song gets my vote for this - it should not be allowed at bars, parties...anywhere.

What song gets your vote? And are there any songs that are a must?

My name and his ex wife's name sounds the same. (For anonymity),Say my name is Linda and the ex's name is lisa.Lisa and Linda starts with the same letter and first syllable starts the same way.So the frist time it happened,we just finished having sex.He wants me to pull the sheets up so he says,"Lisa, can u pull the sheets up?"and im like,"WHAT?!!?"and he was embarassed and schocked at the same time but was laughin hard too.I didnt like it of course.I made a big deal out of it that first time but i everntually fograve him.It has happened a few more of times now but I understand it really sounds the same(they have been divorced for a long time now maybe 6 or 7yrs now.)Last night,he was on the phone and he was referring to his ex wife but said "my wife"!So now im really pissed. This is called a FREUDIAN SLIP--a thought consciously repressed but UNconsciously released. But he hates her and i know that. But what do i do?i dont like it!Should I be mad at him? There is no excuse now right?

I'm trying to find out the name of this stuffed animal from the 80's. When you squeeze it's tummy, little balls or something move around inside it's plastic nose. Anyone remember that? Apparently there were different kinds of animals.

They may wear cowboy hats or work on a ranch. They may live in a trailer park or out in the country. Regardless, they are stereotyped.

I believe that because of this, these people who engage in this kind of behavior are cut from precisely the same cloth as racists and bigots.

What say you?
