Gore got into Harvard because his father was a prominent U.S. senator. (When George W. Bush got into Yale, his father was a comparative unknown -- a mere congressman, on the verge of losing his first race for Senate. He was a Yale alumnus, but so were a lot of other boys' parents.)

Gore continued his mediocre performance at Harvard, ranking in the bottom fifth of the class for his first two years. In his sophomore year, the Post reports: "Gore's grades were lower than any semester recorded on Bush's transcript from Yale."

Gore could not complete either divinity school or law school at Vanderbilt, failing five of the eight classes he took in his three semesters at divinity school. Exactly how many classes do you have to fail to be called dumb, if you're a Democrat?

Meanwhile, the “Dumb Guy” was earning his MBA from Harvard.

the POINT is that the bleeding hearted liberal media touted Bush's grades as confirmation he was stupid, yet literally ignored Gore's WORSE grades AND the fact that he flunked out of two grad schools, instead deciding to spin Al Gore as intelligent! News flash: the reason Al Gore comes off as interesting as cardboard and bright as a stump is because he IS stupid!

Who thinks intelligence and coaching are a similar? coaching purely enables you to apply intelligence in an powerful way. And overall, i could truly believe an recommended individual of common intelligence over an uneducated genius. because uneducated geniuses do a large number of stupid issues.

They have different standards for democrats and republicans. Bush did better than Kerry too but according to libs, Kerry is a genious and Bush an idiot.
I dont agree with W on a lot of things (he is too liberal and loves Mexicans etc) but he is not dumb by any means.

There is a palpable double standard. According to the "intelligentsia," if one does not run in lockstep with the left, they are ignorant, stupid, and closed minded (especially if they do not agree 100% with them). Gore agrees in lockstep with the left, he therefore is an intellectual. Question the left, and you are closed minded.

I don't see failing divinity school as such a bad thing. It's more like avoiding insanity, right? You can only force your mind to make sense out of nonsense for so long before you have to say, "Forget this!"

That could've been Gore's high IQ (according to your story) telling him to stop wasting his time.

When all else fails, sling mud.
This has really got you guys tied in a knot, hasn't it? You'd think Al Gore was advocating the mass slaughter of babies.

Sounds like another Republican upset that the Nobel Committee doesn't give awards for warmongering.

So, you're saying that Gore has more in common with Limbaugh and Hannity - who couldn't even graduate?

Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events, great minds discuss ideas.

Apperently the Nobel Foundation thought his ideas were pretty smart.
