Okay, We were sitting and talking and I said "you were not born then", then she asked "was I in your tummy?" I said no and she said were was I?" I did not know what to say. You see, when I was a kid, whenever I asked that question the response was, "in your daddy's pants." I want her to know about what is really going on but I am not sure if she is old enough to even understand or to even hear detalis about it. I was pregnant at a young age and so was my mother so I want to be very cautious with this one.

I live in NC. In 2003 I defaulted on a $5000 C.C balance. A few months ago a lawyer group had aquired the debt and contacted me. I started paying $100 a month, but missed last month. Now the lawyer is contacting me saying they are going to file papers for a judgment (even though I have no problem mailing in my last payment). I know the SOL is 3 years in NC, but did I restart the clock by making the payments recently? Also, can they file a judgement. And if so what does that mean?

A guy had been feeling down for so long that he finally decided to seek the aid of a psychiatrist.

He went there, lay on the couch, spilled his guts then waited for the profound wisdom of the psychiatrist to make him feel better.

The psychiatrist asked me a few questions, took some notes then sat thinking in silence for a few minutes with a puzzled look on his face.

Other than suing for defamation of character how do you put a stop to this? She is very distraught that she can't get the reference she expected out of them now. She was their top performer and her boss was threatened by her. He is telling employees she was reason for companies current situation - completely untrue.

I guess the second part of the question is - how to distance yourself from that garbage and move on when the lay off and harsh words leave you beat down and paralized?

Technically you could argue man is a part of nature, but I'm treating him separate for this.

The laws in which nature operates seem to be extremely orderly; that's how life has been able to exist for 3-4 billion years.

Yet in the 100,000 years humans have been around, in the past few thousand we have done immense destruction to the earth and defy a natural way of living. I would consider this anything but orderly.

For those of you who think the opposite, why do you?

My sister (who is 18) is living with a guy we all dislike. He is 11 years older than her, tattoos all over his body, peircings on his face and nipples! My parents are doctors, most of our fam members are professionals. This man is nice and all but has criminal records in the past. He is 29, has a GED and is still working on associates degree. No permanent job either. She used to live with my husband and i before she turned 18 for 6months. And my husband wants her to find a good quality man. So now everytime my sister is over (at our house), my husband doesnt want being around her anymore because he said he is constantly reminded of my sisters stupidity and he doesnt like it. i feel the same way but she IS my sister! so now i feel like i cant even have all three of us together! i dont know what to do now!

Chads strength is accuracy and not turning the ball over (being smart) in the last 2 games he has 5 int. The line is terrable and he has no time to throw. and play calling has been aweful this year. I'm in my 2nd trimester - the dr. said it is due to morning sickness (but i haven't had that in a month and even then i was hungry). I see food on tv and am hungry, but looking in the fridge the thought of food makes me feel sick.
