My dad is going away for a 16 day trip to a third world country. He's going to be staying alone in a house, and he won't have much to eat. My mom went with him last year, but this year she's not going. I asked her why she wasn't going and then sort of indirectly suggested she ought to go again. The way I did this was by emphasizing how last year wasn't in vain; that she was there for DAD. Do you think that's out of line? I mean to even give indirect advice to a parent?

I need a pattern for the Britax Regent & also the Sunshine kids Radian 80 car seat.Does anyone know of any? These are extra large car seats so a standard cover won`t fit them.They both fit children up to 80 Lbs.

From my friend "So took my comforter to get it dry cleaned after Giz (cat) peed on it. Picked it up and got it home and out of the bag----it still smells like pea really bad. Sprayed a ton of fabreeze on it----front and back---no luck. I took it back to them this morning and they said----sorry, the only way to get it out is to put it in the washer and it will fall apart if we do. Do you want us to charge you another $27 to try again. Uhm---no. Do you happen to know of anything I can do to get the smell out? I hadn't even had it for a week and I paid $100 for it. I'm so bummed that it's probably ruined."

I went to the doctor and I found out that I was expecting on the 9th of October. My doctor had me come back in for another round of blood because she wanted to be positive. Apparently when I came in the first time, my level was at a six and it is supposed to be doubling every 72 hours, and when I went back the second time, it was negative. I started my period last night, and it was red, but this morning, it was brown, very light bleeding. I heard this is normal, so that doesn't worry me. But has anyone ever had this happen to them? Thanks!

With the recent findings of high amounts of lead in toys, I have to think that the Chinese know what they are doing. Does anyone on yahoo think the same as I do? I believe the Chinese are secretly contaminating toys and products to kill and weaken the American society. Think about it. They send all these toys to America with high amounts of lead. For decades our youth play with these toys and over time this leads to neurological disorders and birth defects. Many believe there is a link between Autism and Lead. So instead of going to war with us, using bombs and bullets. They are poisioning our society with lead. And I believe this has been going on for decades.
