I've been with my B/F for 3 years. I just don't see it going anywhere.. he doesn't want to work or he just doesn't know how to hold a job down. He keeps promising me the world and never delievering. I've been telling him I don't want to be with him anymore and he needs to find a new place to live, he thinks I'm kidding. I don't know any other ways to say it, I've been trying to be so nice about it. I don't want to get the law involved and he just not getting it. I need some advise.. how can you still be nice and break up with someone. I don't want to walk away knowing or thinking someone will hate me. What should I do?? Help please.

I experience extreme pain on the left side of my lower back and the left side of my front around the waist area. So, both of these areas are probably connected to the same thing that is causing the pain. I really don't have any pain when I walk or I sit down. The pain comes when I sneeze or cough or take a deep breath. 5 days ago, I was lifting some pretty heavy objects that I wanted to get rid off from my house (cement blocks, various bricks, doors, etc.) and maybe this has something to do with it. Mind you, I can twist my waist and no pain either. Again, the most pain comes when I sneeze, cough, deep breath and it seems to be at its worse at night. Sleeping is excruciating. I am 46 years old, in excellent health and shape. Can anyone perhaps suggest something sensible regarding the cause and cure to this pain? Thanks!

In his latest advert, he tells a perfectly rational woman to calm down. I want to throttle him.

I've been invited to my neighbour's wedding - just the reception, not the ceremony. I don't know her all that well. I'm thinking of giving vouchers as a present but what would be an appropriate amount to spend?

I had an ultrasound with my 3rd pregnancy and they found an ovarian cyst and said they would want to do another ultrasound to see if it had decreased in size later, it got bigger. After the baby was born I had another ultrasound and they found that it had shrunk but another one had formed. They told me not to worry about it, but this is a horrible hospital (nearest one that my insurance covers otherwise a 1 1/2 drive to next one).

My baby is now 15 months and I have been having pains in my side and a tightness in my lower stomach.

Has anyone had ovarian cysts and is there anything you can do? Is there something to look for? I am 25 and have 3 kids and have never had any other reproductive problems (1 miscarriage). I got pregnant 3 times through birth control.

Help please!!

Oh... But I forgot the best part... Poor Al has to SHARE it with the U.N. Global Climate Change panel!

I'm surprised. Since when is the prize awarded for PHONY science (And Al Gore's "documentary" is chock full of it. Just talk to any real climatologist) to hypocritical politicians who preach about global warming while at the same time using twenty times the amount of energy as the average American and flying around in his private jet?!

Oh, and for those of you who defend him as living a "carbon neutral lifestyle". GET OVER IT! The guy buys "carbon offsets" from a company HE helped found, and buying them does NOT change his total energy consumption or "carbon emissions".

Then again... Considering who the prize as given to in the past (Yasser Arafat and Jimmy Carter), it's become clear that it's now little more than a political joke. Next thing you know, the prize will go to... Hm.. Amadinejad? OR maybe Osama Bin Laden himself?!

Does this strike anyone else as funny?

I would like to sell my house myself, but in this market I am wondering if I am screwing myself. My house will probably only sell for $240k and I purchased the house for $228k. My profit margin is so small that I am very reluctant to use a realtor. Any tips from people who have sold thier own house? What were the challenges? I live in Southern New Hampshire.

I must be more tolerant than many, because I think everyone has a right to their beliefs. I have friends of all faiths. This week, someone began such a conversation about their beliefs. When I began to share mine, this person basically told me to "have a good life" and walked away. I guess I am better off without such people in my life but I can't help feeling like a pariah at times. I pray for them and move on. How do you deal with such a situation?

Hey guys whats going on..Well I got my car about 2 weeks ago...Everything was good until the other day..I started my car up leaving from work and it started up funny...I let it warm up for about 10-15 minutes and decided to take off...I was going up the hill and the check engine lights start blinking and it seems like the car is stuttering a little..It drives fine when going straight but when up hills it begins to stutter..So I drive and pull over and turn the car off for like a minute and then turn it back on and the check engine light stays lit..So I went to the dealership and they checked it for me and I think he said it was misfire in 1 of cylinders...He said it could have been due to water in the gas and that resulted in a misfire...He cleaned out the cylinder and the check engine light is off..It seemed fine driving home so I hope everything is good..So today again starting my car up from work I notice it starts the same way as before..Check engline light comes again..

Is the UK heading for economic meltdown, due to 10 years of
Labour Government, and their tax and waste policies and generousity to immigrants? It seems to me that the UK is built on the back of MEW (mortgage equity withdrawl), and not a booming economy. We are a nation of service industry and very little manufacturing, as the public want cheap goods, so the majority of manufacturing is done in China, Vietnam, India, Eastern Europe etc., using cheaper labour. The Govt have introduced 100 stealth taxes through the back door which affect hard working tax paying citizens, and little by little, the government take more and more money from tax payers. Where has all the Govt's money gone? And all the people paying into a system designed for us, yet fails us when we need it, people taking out of the pot who have not paid into it and our benefits system being a magnet to immigrants. If we offered no benefits, would they come? Many people are living on credit and beyond their means to exist
