Cinnamon has a good point. "Robocop"...they should have taken out the swear words and let the kids see it. It was not an adult movie.

The Star Wars prequels. George Lucas should stick to plotting and hire others to do the actual writing and directing: ESB and RotJ were VASTLY superior to Episode IV, except in the storyline itself.

And that way we could have reasonably expected to see the Final Trilogy... but now since he's at the helm, we never will! Selfish bastard.

My biggest disappointment in the past few years was "Superman Returns". It isn't a horrible film (it's pretty bad, however) but it is extremely disappointing considering what it could have been. Bryan Singer has never read a Superman comic, not one issue over the nearly 70-year history of the character. Instead, he based his film on the mega-overrated 1978 film and the result is more or less a tribute to someone else's (poor) film instead of a new track for the character which took cues from the great comic history. He also hired Routh not because he was a good actor but because he could do a good Reeve impersonation. He wasn't playing Superman; he was playing Reeve playing Superman. What a disappointment.

The X-men movie
Before it came out I was an avid reader and had a gigantic collection of the comics since the beginning and all the changes through the decades, and the movie pretty much stuck to none of it and had awful casting (except for Hugh Jackman) and just suck suck sucked. I didn't watch 2 or 3 because the first one was so terrible. I guess if you never read the comics the movie would have been okay, but for me as a huge fan it was a huge disappointment.

Boiler room, date action image, white chicks-worst video clips i've got have been given no longer considered shrek 3 yet yet little question that may no longer from now on particularly a sadness via fact i don't have severe expectancies. Wasn't too quite satisfied with the 2nd. optimum sequels fall into the hype of the 1st and take a glance into to construct on the aspects that made the 1st so stable and easily overdo it. the american Pie sequels, Meet the Fockers, any sequel to the Disney video clips distinctive than Toy tale 2. There are greater yet i won't be able to be waiting to think of of of any at this 2nd.

"The Unforgiven" Clint Eastwood's worst movie ever!

"Saving Private Ryan" An OK war pictire, but best picture??? Someone must have seen a different movie!

"Titanic" Technical wonder, but please! Totally predictable (the boat sank!!!!) And the worst acting! What a s(t)inker!

"Gladiator" A warmed-over Steve Reeves movie! (George Reeves's brother; went to Italy in the 50's and made a bunch of Hercules movies.)

I have loads but the one I can think of now at the top of my head is Star Wars Episode II: The Attack Of The Clones.

George should have stuck with how he made the original trilogy in my opinion, where the stories flowed better and there wasn't too much CGI, since CGI wasn't around back then.

Resident Evil: Extinction. The zombies weren't much of a major factor. The plot focused too much on the main antagonist Alice. The pacing was VERY slow. It was TOO SCI-FI for its own good. You'll hate the ending.

My greatest movie dissappointment is when, at the end of The Princess Bride, Anigo Montoya says "I want my father back, you son of a *****." That ruined the whole movie because there was no swearing in the film until then and there was no need to put it.

Resident Evil 3. I don't think it was a total disappointment, but I thought it could've been better. I think Resident Evil 2 is better than all three so far.
