I doubt if it was a "ghost" seen in a mirror. Mirrors are used in some cultures to trap ghosts/evil spirits. Chances are the mirror was possessed by an entity of some kind. Midnight is known as the time that the angels change shifts. That is why it is also known as"the witching hour"and many cultures believe it is the time of "spell casting" and recalling the dead. Ghosts have been known to appear during the day. There are different manifestations of things which are commonly called ghosts which are the result of many causes. Commonly, many"ghosts" are atmospherical events which are the result of something that happened in the past and was captured electrostatically, like a video tape and the event replays over and over again when certain conditions are met. A lot of ghosts appear because someone in the room without them knowing it, has triggered a psychic chain of events(usually by wishing to see something). For some reason, teens are usually more attuned to this. Occasionally, a being is there because for some reason Satan wants to"toy" with someone. It's not good to play with Ouija boards for this reason(you are"inviting" something to come) .

Most ghost activity is NOTICED more at night. During the day most people aren't home, There is much more traffic and outdoors activity and noises, bright light to obscure shadows. During the day we are thinking about what we are going to do next or tomorrow or now then the phone rings and the kid hollers...
At night all of the sounds of the day are gone and the fine tuning of our hearing changes. We are much more attuned to soft sounds that would never be noticed during the day. We are usually more relaxed and probably sitting in one place watching the television.
Activiity doesn't only happen at night but it is the most common in general because it is when we are the most receptive. If a spirit is making its presence known it wants to be noticed. Hard to be noticed in an empty house while everyone is at work and school. :)

Most of the ghost accounts I've seen are right when a person is falling asleep or waking up. Hmmm, could that have anything to do with dreams or disorientation?
Granted, some people claim ghost sightings in the daytime, but because of the spookiness and the inability to see as much (i.e. loss of control) people are mentally more primed to "see" ghosts at night.

some of my best pics are taken during the daylight hours. If something shows up, nobody can say its a flash reflection since your not using flash. The phenom of ghosts in mirrors I might suggest isnt a reflection but rather a spirit looking back at you. it has been suggested that this is a place memory type of haunting. Mirrors have a very strong attachment to their owners since the owner is usually looking into them at their most private a vunerable moments. Any personal article can have a place haunting.

I was just talking about the ghost hunters TV show with my wife, and we were wondering why they turn off all the lights. We have both seen ghosts and they were in the daytime in bright light. I think they do it for more of a spooky effect on TV. I did see a ghost in the rear view mirror of a car I owned and turned around in time to see it fade out.

I think that most of the mirror accounts are just people confusing what may be a flaw in the mirror or are seeing flaws that is behind the mirror.
There are plenty accounts of ghost activity during the day. I think that some of it though goes unnoticed because we are busy during the day and aren't paying anything much attention.

ghosts can be seen also in the day there have been cases when a ghost has show it self in the day when no one other then the photographer are present. one famous case is the Battle of Gettysburg. i hav e seen pics of a person dressed up in the war attire and in t he back ground u can see a head that was not in the field b4 the pic was taken. and in the case of the mirror ghosts in one case a group of paranormal investigators went to myrtles plantation and the claim was that they would see hand and face prints when they looked at the mirror they could debunk it. if u want to talk to me bout this and more email me @ original.ghostrider@yahoo.com

particular, I do have faith in spirits. we've had interest for a jointly as now. The interest has gotten plenty worse over the final month. We additionally captured information on video some nights. As for Ouija boards, ghost looking is comparable, it extremely is our modern-day-day of attaining out to spirits. the two may be risky.

There are definitely "ripe" conditions to see a ghost in, however it is not the only time to see them. Ghosts do not care if it is light or dark, warm or cold, they are what they are. It is true that electricity and water are great conductors for ghosts and spirits to utiliize when trying to communicate ... but that is not necessary all of the time, it just makes it easier for them to do so. Take Gettysburg, they are seen all of t he time, anytime, day or night, they are photographed on full moons, no moons, any moons....rainy or sunny....doesn't matter.
