I have both solid black cats and one gray and white cat. I think the solid black cats are the most beautiful. There is just something really sleek and elegant about them. They seem to be slimmer, and more agile and just have a special look about them. When they sit up they are so statuesque compared to the gray cat I have.

I guess it is a matter of the cat though. The personality is the main thing - and a gray or black cat can have a wonderful or nasty personality.

Oddly enough, almost every animal I've ever had was gray, dogs and cats. But I really love black cats. I saw one the other day that was completely black with the most arresting green eyes. So breathtaking.I just love the drama.

I have a regular DSH black cat and I also have a Russian Blue, which are silvery, grayish, with a tint of blue in the right light. They both have their own amazing personalities. I prefer the grey coloring though.

I think cats that are a solid gray with no stripes are extremely pretty!!!!

i have had several diffrent colored cats but the grey ones are the moodiest, most picky, and are the most loyal.
i had my grey cat for 11 years until she died.
