my mum is ok with my sexuality but she is curious and i'm finding it hard sometimes to explain it to a straight person without talking to her like another LGBT person coz she doesn't understand some things. also i've educated her about stereotypes, butches and femmes.

she does stereotype sometimes but out of confusion and i correct her. she is a really good mum and is trying her best to let me be myself. any advice people? thanks xx

I've always wondered that. Some people say we're just a set of chemical reactions. So what's the point of morals then?


If you just believe in the physical, then you'd have no reason not to fulfill any physical desires. So why do people hold themselves back?


Why can't we do incest? Why can't we have orgies whenever?


No, I'm not calling anyone who doesn't believe in a soul immoral, I'm just wondering why they'd want to have mental blocks in their brain that prevent them from having every physical pleasure they can before they die.



We are animals, and we have animal instincts, and we know that, we can gauge, and check our emotions, so that makes us self aware and we should able to rise above them. So why can't we?


I've just never understood that.


and people, answer the question. don't say "Is the only reason you have morals, is because you believe in god?" because that's dodging the question.


and don't call me sick either, i don't believe in any of this.

Hey. When i take my computer off sleep my monitor has this weird buzzing sound but after a few hours turns off. I have vista and when i change the resolution, the beeping stops. Whats the problem?? its at 1024 x 768 pixels.I dont want it any bigger because it looks out of place and fat.

and eat it once a day for the rest of your life? Someone asked me this and right away I thought of a bunch of things I would choose. Then I stopped and thought about it. I like a certain kind of donut but I don't eat them every day or even every week so I'm sure if I had to eat them once a day for the rest of my life I'd get tired of it fast. So I chose one square of a Hersheys dark chocolate bar once a day.

So I can't remember how it started, but i do remember I was at a baseball field and I was seating on these benches with a couple of guys. And there was this guy I like. And I was saying some jokes and evrybody was laughing. Then I noticed the guy I liked was looking down at his shoes. So I saw his shoes and I though damn I love his shoes the were tight.So then he looked at my shoes and I looked at him like wow back off.So then we went back up. And I was trying to make him jelous so i started messing with these other guys.And then this tall due showed up and he picked me up. He held me sideways so it was like i was running on the walls.He then left me on a tall cabinet.And he lef!So then i saw another smaller cabinet next so i tried to jump on it.And this other guy showed up and started annoying me. And just when I was jumping on the small cabinet he pulled it out.And I fell on the grass.Then i was like u could have killed me!

My husband and I are in the middle of a custody case over his 5 year old son. Neither my husband nor I go to church, but we do believe in God and Jesus, and try to pass on good faith values to his son, such as the biblical reason for Easter and Christmas, and not just hunting eggs or getting presents. His Ex has done a 180 from Baptist to Jehovah Witness. The child is coming to us talking about Jehovah, about how he made everything, and what Jehovah wants us to do...we feel that we need to get another view across to him about God and Jesus, and that pledging allegiance to the flag is okay, and birthday parties are fine, but we are not wanting to undermine his mother's recent faith change from Baptist to Witness (Which we think is Bogus and a ploy). We also don't want to be hypocrites ourselves by going to church when we think that God lives in our hearts, not a building. Please give specific reasons, should we go, or not? If so where? I was raised Catholic, he was rasied Baptist
