For women who had an abortion.
If abortion is a murder and most conservatives support capital punishment, then why not?
(and related to this, would you charge a doctor as an accomplice? )

Legality aside. If you think it is a murder, then what is the punishment?
Actually this is a question for conservatives, who DO believe it is a murder.

I am reluctantly leaning towards giving the best answer to gomango or MickeM ! FOR HONESTY and relevance!
The rest of people are just ranting on unrelated subjects.
Law is not a topic, after all at some point in time slaves were legal too. This is not a point. If you believe that this is a murder , then there should be a punishment for it? Needle? 20 years in prison? What is you thinking on this? What is the woman's health is in danger? How would you choose who lives and who dies?

A woman becomes pregnant as a result of being raped and has an abortion.
you want her executed ?.
get real.
In most countries abortion is legal.
The doctor's are acting within the law so are not guilty of any offence.
if you feel strongly about take it up with the Pope, but don't hold your breath waiting for a response..

Absolutely not. Abortion is not legally a murder at this time for one thing. You might disagree with it on moral grounds, but that wasn't your question. Secondly, I don't support the death penalty in most other cases either. It doesn't deter people from committing murder, it arguably costs more (because of automatic appeals, etc...) than just leaving the convicted in prison for life, and there have been times when we've realized the person was innocent of the crime AFTER the death sentence was carried out. Oops!
But I digress...
And why keep coming back and changing the question? Why not simply ask what you want to begin with so you can exclude those you disagree with beforehand? And your question necessarily must consider legality of an act if you're talking about inflicting punishment for it. It's interesting that you're not even willing to consider the legal grounds in your question.

WHY does this question keep appearing?
People who are put up for capital punishment are on death row because they probably killed at least 1 person brutally, and in most cases more than 1 person. They took life, so we forfeit theirs.
The baby is simply not wanted and inconvenient. The law allows you to discard it for your convenience. Would you kill your grandma because taking care of her was less convenient?
I don't really care either way about capital punishment. So long as the people are truly guilty, I feel it serves its place. If they did away with capital punishment, I'd have no problem because usually the alternative is life in prison. Those people won't be a problem either way, and I would think life in prison is a lot worse than capital punishment (depending on how much time you have left).

How can you possibly be pro life and support capital punishment? It doesn't make any sense. You support preserving life in one case and not another? Pious hypocrites.
Who are we to say anyone has the right to die? We justify killing someone because they killed someone? That's a double standard only the most ignorant could be comfortable with.
Not to mention the huge number of people that were later proven to be completely innocent after they were executed. (Somewhere close to 10% of executions)
The problem with the abortion question is that it is a question of whether or not a fetus is actually a human being. This is an ethical question that can be only answered by people's opinions.

Abortion is unfortunately not illegal. How can anyone support the death penalty for something legal? Many women who have abortions are ignorant of what is really taking place. Doctors who perform them, especially late term abortions know exactly what they are killing. They make a hell of a lot of money using their medical education to end life rather than save it. It is they who bear the greater guilt.

I do help capitol punishment to a definite degree(interior the main extreme circumstances the place they understand for a actuality that they have the magnificent individual). on the 2nd, even with the undeniable fact that, I haven't any project putting it on the returned burner till lots of the failings interior the justice gadget are worked out. this is not any longer hypocritical. that's punishing somebody for committing a extreme crime(very often homicide) against (an) harmless sufferer(s). Killing a murderer isn't homicide. that's justice.

abortion isnt murder.. people who think it is are often narrow minded people or those who have been blinded by the "Church" - ever wonder why the Church is so against abortion?? ha ha .. it isnt cause they think "life is precious"...its a way of controlling people and more births = more people to control.
abortion is not the best answer - but I dont see people who are against it offering free birth control, so its the only answer we have right now....
I would advocate manditory tubal ligation for women who use abortion as a form of birth control over and over...
doctors who preform abortions are heros.. too many unwanted kids/babies already why would anyone want more???

No, because at this point in time abortion is legal. Whether or not that is moral or you agree with it, it is still legal.
