in history class today, we were learning about strikes that took place after WWI. i found out that in 1919 i think nobody won the Stanley Cup. Montreal & Seatle were in the finls & they had won 2 games a piece. then the strike took place. so i was just wondering who do you guys tink would have won the Cup if the strike didn't happen??

I'm 18, just in colleage. Your probably thinking, Wow! I must be stupid. But I have a kind husband, and he has a good job, the family's going fine, and we barely ever argue. We have one baby girl named Maria (mah-ree-uh) that just turned one, and I'm expecting a baby boy that we decided to name Eric. Do you think I'm too young? I have my iTunes on right now, and Interpol's "Evil" is playing. I read somewhere once that the use of the name "Rosemary" in the song is a referance to the movie "Rosemary's Baby" (yikes!). Who knows whether or not that's true, but I always think about that when I hear it.

I am a male age 31 weight 170 punds. I use to weigh 215punds till I started watching what I eat and managed to bring it down.

During my work week I normally take to work with me an apple, peach, plum, banana and a small lunch. In between i might sneak in rice cake ( caramel/chocolate chip). These I tend to eat at 2hr intervals but inbetween I get these hunger bursts. I then try to drink either hot water or cold water but it doesnt seem to cut it that much. Throughout the day I do drink my 2l of water though ..

Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong? What can I do to control my hunger but not build up calories (I have an office job so I sit all day, physical activity is the result of a 5-10 min walk during break sometimes).

I just wondered about this reading posts from answerers who are in the States, i think - there are frequently words like 'could' 'would' 'can' when I'm SURE you mean 'couldn't' 'wouldn't' and 'can't' I know it's an accent thing to omit it in speech - is this why you don't even write it any more??
