I have worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge. When I started out, I didn't have much information and spent countless weeks, months and even years learning the ropes by trial and error. I know how valuable information and resources are to people who are starting out from scratch. So I recently decided to use some of my spare time to create a blog with Disney Channel casting notices, audition information, information on getting an agent, demo-reels, resumes, etc. There are far too many scam artists out there who take advantage of those actors who are trying to make their dreams come true. The information and casting notices I provide are totally free and legitimate. Hopefully I can save some people a few bucks and a lot of footwork.
(I have also created a sister-site Hannah Montana Auditions, and a general Acting Auditions site)
Sincerely,
Alan Baltes

Slow down and back up. :-) Like the others have said, that is just not how it's done. You don't call casting directors out of the blue, your agent does that for you. What you need to do first is make sure your parents support your decision to do this and will help you in your endeavors because at your age you can't do anything without them. Then get training and experience through classes and theatre productions. You need to build a resume before anyone in the industry will take you seriously. Besides school, look at local theatres to gain experience. The classes will give you information on how to audition and what's expected of you in a production, etc. Once you have a few roles under your belt there, then try your hand at student and indie films. To find audition information locally, ask your teachers in your acting classes, voice lessons and dance classes. You may be able to get info from backstage.com and actorsaccess.com but again you need your parents' permission because although you can look for free, there will be a fee to get all the info or to submit yoursef for the audition. You'll see what I mean when you check out the sites. You can also do a search for your state's film alliances, commissions etc. Those sites have info on productions filming locally and often have info on classes for you to take and casting info. Do a websearch for Florida film and see what comes up. Explore the sites thoroughly!
Once you have a decent body of work to put on a reseume and a couple years of training an agent may give you the time of day.... check out http://www.sag.org/sagWebApp/application?origin=page1.jsp&event=bea.portal.framework.internal.refresh&pageid=AgentInformation for legit agents.
good luck

Casting Director's don't appreciate being called up by amateur wannabe actors who want to see if they "need someone". CD's go through agents and the agent submit actor's that they have signed. Agents sign actors with training, experience and a knowledge of the industry. Do you have those?
So, first off, read a book about the biz - try Breaking into Acting for Dummies to get a basic overview of how things work. Next, sign up for an acting class and then start auditioning for some shows. Once you're a point where you're not going to be automatically written off for being a complete waste of an agent's time for having no experience or training, then get some professional headshots and start submitting to agents.
If you want to skip all that and start submitting yourself, get a copy of the Ross Reports for Agent and Casting Director directories.

Well it is a tough and competitive business, but at least you already have a lot of experience :) The best place to find agencies is online. Just make sure to do your research and only apply to legitimate agencies. To apply to an agency you will need to submit professional photos and personal information. If an agency likes you they will contact you and interview you. Then they will decide whether or not they are going to accept you into their company. If you are considering moving I highly suggest Southern California. Places like LA and Hollywood are the place to be if you want to act in TV shows and movies. New York is the best for theater and musicals. I wouldn't move to london. There are opportunities there, but nothing like NY and CA. Regardless of your decisions, it will take hard work and a lot of time. Overall it's a risky business, so be careful! Good luck :)

Sorry, Miguel, that is not how it works. The first thing you need to do is to get your parents to agree that you should seek a career as an actor. Then you need to get some acting experience, so you participate in everything about acting in school, you act in the plays, take drama classes, etc.,then you need a mentor, then you need professional classes, then you need more experience in plays, guided reading, a resume, a headshot and finally an agent. This process could take several years, but that is how you do it.
For more info. read my profile and write to me at my aol address. I help aspiring actors for free.

You will need more than that my friend. How about starting at the beginning and getting some training first. Learn how the process works and then think about casting directors and agents.
Try here for starters: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/teen_acting.html
Good luck!
