I think they should. But I also think no student would like to wear uniforms. I think they should so they don´t judge you after your clothes. So everybody gets a chance to make friends.

No, college students are adults and need to make decisions for themselves. Part of decision making is figuring out what is/isn't appropriate to wear. Being asked to wear a uniform would be taking away the decision making.

I like the first person's answer about a college student's uniform being a hoodie, jeans, and flip flops. That would be the closest thing to a college student uniform :)

Absolutely not. I don't agree with any school requiring uniforms, but college students are grown adults. Uniforms are absurd for that population. For a college student, the school is not only their school, it is also their home--you think people should be wearing uniforms at home?

If you're not old enough to dress yourself by the age of 7 then you should be forced to wear a uniform. Uniforms don't make you smarter and don't change your character. If it was THAT easy Americans don't you think crime would be down b/c they all would be wearing a uniform for the rest of their lives? Many college students were smart enough to make it to that level without being forced to wear plaid, khakis, white or blue shirts everyday of their lives.

No, it's the time when they need to start acting and thinking like adults. Also many business departments have their students start wearing professional clothes.

By the way, flip flops are a terrible fashion statement.

No. Colege is the first step to becoming and adult. You get to make your own choices. What classes to take. What to maijor in. Weither to study or not. Weither to go to class or not. If your going to pass or fail. Party or study. Drink or not drink. And what you a going to wear.

Also there are some non-traditional older students who may be just taking classe for fun or to get thier degree. They would not take to wearing unifoms. Nor should they have to.

no.

even if one accepts the high-school uniform gig, college is not a mandatory level of education like high school is.

if you attend a military college, BTW, you do (last I knew, that is).
